History: Kali is Kovu's second mate. As a cub,her and Kovu were best friends and would always try to sneak out inside the pridelands. One day,one of the lions from Pride Rock spotted them playing in their territory. Simba had sent one of the lionesses to chase after them. Luckily Kovu and Kali had made it safe back at home,without being captured or killed by the lionesses. As time went on,Kali was a beautiful outsider lioness. Zira had planned Kali to be Kovu's queen after he kills Simba.But of course,that didnt happen. Kovu had reunited and fell in love with his old friend Kiara. Zira was very furious after he had left and betrayed his own outsider pride. Kali cried a tear and thought Kovu had loved her,but thought wrong.

She growled,wanting revenge by trying to get "rid" of Kiara so she could have Kovu as her official mate. As months and years flew by, Zira was already dead since she had fallen over a clift after the battle between the outsiders and pridelanders.Everything was world peace now in the pridelands.Everyone was happy and having a good time except one lion and that was Kali. Kali was now a rouge.She had barley eaten over weeks now but had lots of water to keep her from being dehydrated. She hated the pridelanders and didnt want to leave her birth home,which was the outlands. She figured that she may betray Zira if she left like the others did. Kali decided to go hunt in the pridelands,since it was the best spot to find food. She climbed up a tree,trying to search for any prey that was close by.

The minute she climbed up on the branch it snapped in half and down she fell onto her back. There behind her was the handsome Kovu. His mane was still growing but had also gotten stronger now as he gotten older. He was hunting for his lovely mate Kiara until he came across Kali who had fallen out of the tree. He recognized her looks and went,"Kali?" with a puzzled look. Kali got up quickly,remembering his tone and smiled yelling "Kovu!" and gave him a hug. The two both reunited happily,but everything wasnt so happy yet. Kali was angry since Kovu was sill Kiara's mate  and got jealous as her feelings began to show out more towards him. Kovu seemed to notice but told Kali that they were only friends. Kali nodded,pretending that she understood (Which wasnt true) and said that she must leave the pridelands to go back home.

Kovu told Kali that she could stay in pridelands(Since he's the king at this time) and could have anything she wanted. Kali liked the idea,but she still wanted Kovu to be her mate and said that she loved him. Kovu admitted that he use to like her and gave her a nuzzle. Eventually,the two had fell in love which got Kali pregnant. She gave birth to triplets who names were Chaka,Amira, and Tavu. Kovu had no choice but to be her mate since now he has cubs by her. He made a den far way from priderock to hide Kali and her cubs away from Kiara so nothing wouldnt get too suspicious. Kali felted like a happy lioness now since Kovu was her mate and everything went well liked she had planned it to be a long time ago.

As more time went on,the triplets were now full grown adults now who lived their own lives. Kovu figured it was time to leave Kali and go back to his old mate Kiara. He loved Kali,but also loved Kiara more. Kali was more different from Kiara and he never felted the same love back from her. So he left Kali with a sigh and headed back to pride rock,without her or his triplets knowing....
