History: Sadira was the first cub of Asante and Shani. Sadira was always very adventurous as a cub but every time her curiosity lead her into bad situations. Sadira was smart and she thought she could think her way out of every problem. He father did not think so. Asante and Sadira often argued about what was right for Sadira. Luckily, Shani was not as strict as Asante. This made Sadira and her mother very close.
When Sadira was just a cub, her younger brother was born. Her parents named him Rashid. Sadira was very excited to have a younger sibling to play with. Her parents warned her she would have to be gently with him. They weren't exactly right. Rashid was even more wild than his sister. At a young age he was out getting into trouble. Sadira stuck by him, thinking she could get him out of any trouble. Rashid and Sadira had always been close to Rashid. They fought like any other brother or sister but Sadira made sure she was always there for her little brother.
Soon after Rashid was born, Asante and Shani had news of another cub on the way. This time it was a little girl. Her name was Asha and unlike her siblings she wasn't the big trouble maker. Still, she was always willing to go along with her older siblings to play. The three were always together after that. They were even close with their cousins Nuala and Mwesi. The five were always together but Sadira seemed to always lead them. She loved being the oldest. They were always out exploring. One time, Nuala was distracted by a noise and was sadly left behind. Nuala was blind and it did take them a while to find their cousin was gone. They rushed to find her. Sadira was very worried but she managed to act brave for her cousins. They did find Nuala, but not before her father and King Kipawa. All of them got into a lot of trouble but were soon forgiven.
As Sadira grew, not much changed in her personality but she did grow. One day, Sadira was out exploring when she noticed a lion. The lion was out alone wandering around the borders of the Pride Lands. Sadira had never met this lion before but she rarely spent much time around others but her close friends and family. Sadira's curiosity got the best of her and she followed him. Sadira was unaware where the lion was leading her, until she saw it. The lion had disappeared into a large and beautiful jungle. Sadira lost track of where the lion went but went off to explore the new land anyway. She came upon a waterfall, and looked into the bright blue water. She stopped to get a drink, only to end up getting splashed when the lion jumped into the water for a swim. He came up and introduced himself as Erevu. Sadira was hesitant at first but after a bit of a talk, she was comfortable with Erevu. Erevu was a Pride Lander, but didn't really talk much to anyone else because he was always sneaking off into the jungle where he made a home for himself. The two enjoyed the day hanging out in the jungle. Sadira had to admit, it was the most beautiful place she had ever been in. Erevu was able to get her to loosen up and the two did not want the day to end.
Asante did not like the idea of Sadira going off with Erevu. The two often fought about that but Sadira kept running off to be with Erevu and soon developed a crush on him. Asante even confronted Erevu, but he was in love with Sadira. It seemed nothing could keep them apart. Then, one day the two were off in the jungle enjoying the day by the river. A large storm started. They took shelter to wait for it to pass but it just seemed to get worse. Sadira wanted to go home so they got up and started their way back to the Pride Lands. Sadira and Erevu crossed a log, used as a bridge, to cross the river. The old bridge broke in half. Erevu quickly held on to the the remaining bit of the log, but Sadira was swept away by the waves. She wasn't a bad swimmer but the storm caused the water to be so choppy she couldn't escape it. Erevu jumped in the water trying to save her. He managed to catch Sadira before she got to the waterfall but it was a struggle to reach one side of the river with the waves crashing against them. Erevu, using all his strength, managed to grab hold to land and pull Sadira and himself to safety.
They traveled home as fast as they could. Asante was furious at Erevu. He challenged him but Sadira wouldn't let her father hurt Erevu. She argued with him, telling the story of how Erevu saved her life. Asante did not believe it at first but he knew, from the look on his daughter's face, that she would not lie about this. Asante accepted Erevu, knowing that Sadira and him would soon become mates.
Sadira's father was right. Erevu asked Sadira to be his mate. Asante was very happy to see Sadira where she belonged. Their relationship got much better after that and Sadira's life could not get better.
