History: Kipawa was born in the Pride Lands after his parents took the throne. He was a very playful cub, with lots of friends. Kipawa is very close to his mother, and is more open with her but Kipawa looks up to his father Kovu and wants to be just like him. Kipawa worked very hard at his training to become king and was excited but he always made time for his family. Kipawa especially loved stargazing with his mother, while his father told him stories.
Soon, Kipawa was not an only child anymore. Kiara and Kovu had a daughter when Kipawa was a young cub. Kipawa and his sister, Shani, got along well. They often played together, but they were very different. Shani was a bit more adventurous and care free, but also less cautious. Kipawa began to act more like an adult, thinking it is what you have to do when you become an older sibling. Kipawa was very protective of his sister and was worried she'd get into big trouble.
Kipawa grew into a young teenager and was getting much better at his training. He could finally win in a fight against his sister. Kipawa was a very handsome teenager and one day, while out on a walk, he ran into a lioness. The lioness explained she was from a neighboring pride. Kipawa knew the pride lands did not have any trouble with neighboring prides so he was very friendly towards her. The lioness introduced herself as Hasina. Right away, Kipawa developed a crush on this beautiful lioness but after a short conversation, she had to leave. Kipawa returned home, to bad news. His sister, Shani, was missing. Kipawa and his father went out looking for her. It was hours until they finally found Asante, Shani's best friend. Asante was a good lion and Kipawa trusted him but Asante's father was not. He had an obsession with becoming king and knew if he captured Shani, Kipawa would come. Kipawa rushed into action. Kipawa and Asante went looking for Shani. They found where Asante's father was keeping Shani and Kipawa did not hesitate. He jumped at the chance and got into a long fight with Asante's father. After making sure Shani was not hurt, Asante ran to help. Together, Asante and Kipawa, won against Asante's father. Asante helped defeat his own father, but was happy Shani was alright. Kipawa noticed how Asante felt about his sister, and surprisingly did not mind.
Kipawa grew into an adult and was crowned king. His parents could not be more proud. Then, Kipawa learned that he needed a mate and queen. He didn't find any girl he really liked but kept searching. Then, Hasina returned but this time with a warning. Hasina's pride had a new king. This lion had taken over her pride, by killing the old and beloved king. The new king was horrible and the pride was falling apart but he now wanted to expand his land. He was sending an army to take over the Pride Lands. Kipawa set up an army and with the help of Hasina, they confidently rushed into battle. Kipawa did not send many out into war and didn't take it very seriously, until he learned that his best friend was killed in battle.Upset, Kipawa rushed into the battle, with Hasina by his side. Kipawa challenged the king to a one-on-one battle. The king accepted this challenge, lunging for Kipawa's throat. Kipawa was stronger than the king, but the king was smarter. He easily found a way around most of Kipawa's attacks. It didn't look good for Kipawa, until Hasina jumped in to help. She attacked the king, saving Kipawa. With the king gone, the pride went back to normal. Hasina's pride was being rebuilt and they even got a new, much better, king but Hasina did not want to go back. She had fallen in love with Kipawa, and wished to stay with him.
In only a short period of time. Kipawa and Hasina knew they were supposed to be together. They became mates, and finally Kipawa found his queen. The Pride Lands did not run into much danger after that. Kipawa became the great king he always wanted, and after having two cubs he also became the father he wanted to be.
