Personality: Naasir is a very laid-back and virtually quiet lion. He usually goes with the flow of most things, and unless he strongly objects to something, he usually goes along with it. However, this doesn’t mean he’s easily bossed around. He’s got a mind of his own, and is extremely stubborn, but is loyal to those closest to him. He is also very energetic and adventurous, as well as a very intent listener.     

History: Naasir was born during harsh times, but he was deemed ‘a worthy heir’ by his father, Scar, so Naasir grew up well fed and taken of under his father’s watchful eye.

Naasir, despite being pampered, had little freedom, and was often contained inside of Pride Rock’s den with his mother, Halima, whom Scar had grown very possessive of. Scar never let the young lioness out of his sight, and she was often forced to stay with Scar at all times. Naasir, however, was watched a little bit looser, being allowed to roam around Pride Rock as long as the lionesses were watching him.

He grew a particularly strong bond with his grandmother Sarafina and half-sister, Fayola, often tagging along with his grandmother and playing with his slightly older sibling.

One day, Naasir, out of pure luck managed to escape the lionesses’ eyes when they were feuding with a few hyenas over food, and so he snuck away from Pride Rock. He wandered around, playing around with whatever he could, when he stumbled into a young cub with striking blue eyes. She was very friendly, asking him what his name was, and Naasir told her. He asked her his name, and she replied, ‘Ari.’ The two then began to play, when they heard a loud roar. Suddenly Scar appeared, and snarled at Ari to leave. The frightened cub fearfully raced away, while Scar, furiously led his son back to Pride Rock.

When they returned Scar brutally slapped his son, and Naasir began to cry, before Halima, who let everyone walk over her, jumped to her son’s defense and snarled at Scar to ‘back off.’ Scar, furious at everything abruptly left his mate and son alone under the watch of the hyenas.

After that day Halima watched Naasir carefully as Scar trained him, making sure that the dark lion never lashed out at his son.

When Naasir was a young teen, His aunt, Nala vanished. The pride, Sarafina, Fayola, and Halima the most, were devastated. Naasir, feeling terrible for her disappearance, felt determined to help the lionesses. At his age, the Pridelands were falling deeper, and deeper despair, and though he was still young, the lion could tell that his pride was starving. Determined to help, he went off to hunt. He found a large wildebeest heard, and began to stalk one when they suddenly erupted into a stampede. Furious he began to bound away when he heard a startled roar. Despite the factor of getting hurt, he knew he had to help. He charged after the stampede, and in the midst saw a pale lioness that was around his age. He swerved through the hooves of wildebeest and knowing that beyond the cliff was a lake below, he barreled into the lioness’ side and the two toppled over into the water below. He grabbed onto her scruff and pulled her through the water until they got to land. The lioness woke quickly, and as she regained herself, Naasir recognized her striking blue eyes. Knowing it was the cub he met, he was about to greet himself to her when she snapped, ‘I could have saved myself! If you hadn’t barged in! I don't need to thank a stranger!’ Naasir was shocked, and seeing how angry she was he growled and stalked off, not looking back as he bounded back to his home, still not forgetting Ari.
