Personality: Halima is extremely down-to-earth and sweet, however, is a clear follower, not a leader, with almost virtually no backbone at all. She is easily bossed around, and never says no to anything she’s asked to do. But due to her gentle demeanor and good temperament, most lions look past this and look at her for what she is; a friend for life.

History: When she was a young adult, Sarafina was out by herself when she bumped into an old flame; Mega. He was thrilled to see her, but she could care less, saying that she had ‘moved on from her crush.’ However, Mega refused to let her leave, and with enough persistence reignited the flame inside of Sarafina, and the two mated. Sarafina stayed away from the Pridelands for a few days with Mega when as quick as he appeared, the lion vanished. Sarafina was hurt a bit by this, but went on back to the Pridelands. It was only a few days after her return when her closest friend, Sarabi, asked her if she was pregnant. Startled and nervous, Sarafina confided in her friend, telling her everything, and the Queen understood and kept quiet about who Sarafina’s father was. After about two months Sarafina gave birth to two healthy little females, whom she named Nala and Halima.  

Halima and Nala grew up happily alongside the prince, Simba; and despite the curiosity about their father, the pride remained quiet about the topic.

Halima grew close with her sister, and the two were inseperable, however, Nala was far more energetic and playful ten Halima, and she would often leave to go play with Simba. When the two went off to play Halima would often stay at Pride Rock with her mother and listen to the stories that the lionesses all told. As she grew older the pride noticed that with everyday Halima grew more and more obedient to what everyone told her to do. Simba would often tease her about this and every once in a while so would Nala, but they were often rebuked by their mothers for it.

The days passed on and Halima grew each day, and one day she woke early to see Scar taking Simba out for a walk. She didn’t dwell too much on the thought, seeing Scar was Simba’s uncle, but she still felt a bit suspicious of the dark lion. She then saw Zazu and Mufasa leave for their daily patrol, and decided to go back to sleep.

It was later in the day when Scar returned saying that Mufasa and Simba had been killed in a stampede. The pride was heartbroken, and Halima tried as best as she could to comfort Nala at the loss of Simba. Then, Scar continued his speech when hyenas began to swarm over Pride Rock. Halima and Nala were terrified, and the lionesses kept them under their feet, shielding them from the hyenas.

After a few months the Pridelands fell into despair, with the herds moving away, the water drying up, and the lands overall were dying. The pride was outraged with Scar’s ruling, but he paid little attention.

Months passed and the Pridelands grew worse, with most of the pride giving their share of the food to the still growing Halima and Nala. One day Scar announced, out of the blue, that Nala was his Queen and that she would give him an heir. Nala and the whole pride was outraged, but Halima accepted, as she was extremely obedient, but deep down she knew that she should’ve tried to defy Scar with her pride.

Despite the pride and Nala’s protesting, Scar forced Nala to mate with him, and after a few weeks she gave birth to a little female whom she named Fayola. The pride loved the young cub, but Scar was outraged with her. He demanded that the cub be killed and that Nala was to mate with him again, but Halima, to protect her sister and niece offered to mate with Scar. The dark lion agreed, and although she strongly didn’t want too, Halima reminded her self that she needed to protect Nala and Fayola, so she mated with Scar.

A few weeks after her mating with Scar, Halima gave birth to a single boy cub, who she named Naasir. Scar happily announced that when he passed on that the throne would belong to Naasir, and to the pride’s happiness he kept Halima safe and well fed due to giving him a worthy heir.
