Personality:Layla is a nice,sweet,friendly,and a huge total opposite from her evil sister Zira.

Layla's cub hood:Layla was born in the pridelands along with her big sister Zira.She lived a great childhood and made alot of friends.Her sister Zira was always jealous of her because no one really paid no attention to her except when she's begging for attention or for someone to play with her.One day,Zira was really mad when she spotted her crush,Taka(Scar) flirting with Layla.She told Layla to get away from him and Layla quickly walked off with a frown,saying that she didnt like Taka and they were only just friends.Taka agreed,even though he was lying.He just didnt want to hurt Zira's feelings or make her more angry since she has a bad temper.

While Zira and Taka were playing,Layla decided to go take a walk through the pridelands alone.As she was walking,she came across a blue butterfly.She smiled,chasing it around the grasslands then bumped into something that was her same size and height.It was another lion cub named,"Taji".He was from a different pride that wasnt too far away from the pridelands.The two both got up with smiles.Layla explained how sorry she was and Taji explained that it was his fault for being in the way.He also said that she seemed nice and asked if she wanted to play.Of course Layla said yes since she loved meeting new friends.The two both began playing tag as the sun started to set peacefully.

Sabra came to take her daughter Layla home and smiled,seeing her and Taji still playing tag.Layla noticed her mother was watching them and told her who Taji was.Taji asked if Layla could play tomorrow and of course Sabra said sure,if it was okay with King Adahi and queen Uru.She started leading the way back to priderock with Layla on her side.Taji told her good-bye as he ran back home to his pride across the river.Layla couldnt wait to see taji again tomorrow as she layed next to her mother and sister inside the den with a smile.

Layla's adult hood:As time went on,Layla was a beautiful adult lioness.She was going on her first hunt through the hunting grounds.She was hunting a zebra until a strange lion got in the way and scared it off.Layla frowned with anger,yelling "What are you doing?! You made me loose my chance of catching my first prey! You idiot!!".The male ignored her rude statement and smiled,saying "You dont remember me do you?".Layla looked confused and went "Who are you stranger?".The male made a bigger smile and said,"It's me,taji".Once the name Taji trailed through Layla's head,she started smiling and went,"Taji?".The male nodded as it apparently turned out to be her old best friend Taji.The two reunited happily and eventually fell deeply in love.

Taka(Scar) wanted to make Layla as he queen after he killed Mufasa but then got mad once he founded out about the relationship between her and Taji.He was so angry that one day he killed Taji right infront of her.Layla was speechless and was so heart broken,seeing her mate covered in blood and scars.At this time she was pregnant with her and Taji's first cub and was upset since the cub wont be able to meet it's father once it's born.She frowned at Taka and called him a murder right in his face then ran off inside the den,crying her soul out as Sarabi and Sarafina tried to calm her down.Taka felted bad and wished he shouldnt of killed Taji.But he really didnt care,he loved Layla but not anymore.Eventually he fell in love with Zira and made her become his queen as the two both took over priderock as their own pride.
