History:

 Before Vitani gave birth to him, she hoped and dreamed and begged Mufasa every night that she would give birth to a baby girl. When she mated with Kopa and found out that she was pregnant, she was nervous that it would be a boy. So when she finally gave birth to Kani, she cried for hours, seeing as he was a boy. Kopa couldn't understand how Vitani could be so cruel, and divorced her. This just made Vitani more upset. Kani would see all of the other cubs with their mothers, he would cry himself to sleep at night. He remembered a time when he, himself, had a mother. Kopa wanted to get back with Vitani, so he sweared that if she let him re-marry her, that they could sell Kani. Kani was told the horrifying news. He sobbed and screamed. Vitani hit him and told him to shut up. He was finally sold to a single lioness called Rarah. Rarah would abuse him and neglect him. He cried every single night, missing his parents. He saw a shooting star and wished on it, hoping that one day he could escape. He eventually grew into a young lion, and killed Rarah. He liked the feel of killing, and soon became evil. He tried to take over the Pridelands, but when he tried to hurt Vitani, Kovu killed him. Kani was now dead, but his legend would reamin, forever.
