Likes: Batali, his children, his mother and sister, being responsible, helping others in anyway way he can, playing with his sons, lazing by the waterhole, being independant, fruit, peace and quiet, thinking, Simba, Nala, the jungle, hanging from vines (when he was younger), having a mate and family 

Dislikes: Being blind and people who make fun of him for this, his father and brother, arguing with Batali, being annoyed constantly, his old pride, being made to look weak, being shouted at, being told he's inferior, nighttime (due to his blindness), not being able to see his sons, rude and unhelpful lions, how stubborn Batali is

History: Huuka's parents were the King and Queen of a Pride that occupied one of the many lands surrounding the Pride Lands. He was first born in his litter, which was supposed to make him the next ruler of the Pride. But as he was growing, his parents noticed there was something very wrong with their first-born cub and future ruler. They took him to the Pride's resident medicine baboon Hodari, who came to conclusion that Huuka was in fact blind, and that he would never be able to see. They were both shocked at this revelation, but Huuka was still the same playful cub that he had always been.

When the time came for Huuka to learn all of his princely duties, Aksana became more and more worried. She knew that her mate, Shankhani, was certainly not thrilled at the proespect of having a blind lion as the next King. In fact, she constantly had to listen to him belittle her son, and call him inferior to his siblings among other things. The lioness still loved her son, no matter what was wrong with him, and was constantly defending him from these verbal attacks, and convince her mate to let Huuka remain the chosen King. Huuka wasn't particularly thrilled with these lessons, and in fact found them quite boring, but he understood why he needed them. He was excited at the prospect of ruling the lands when he was old enough. But little did he know, his father had also been training his younger brother, Farajah, and in fact planned to make HIM the next King when the time came. Huuka continued to grow into a strong young lion, and although he always wished that he could see everything around him and be normal, he knew that this was not possible.

It was soon time for the crowning of the next King, and Huuka was growing extremely nervous. On the day, he and his siblings stood together, waiting for the announcement. To everybody's surprise, Shankhani announced that Huuka was not to be the next King at all, and that his younger brother would. Aksana snapped at her mate, wondering what on Earth he was talking about. Was this some kind of joke?! But alas, that was not the case. Huuka was deeply upset, and could not hold back his tears. But before the ceremony ended, his father had another announcement to make... He told everybody that Huuka was to leave the lands on the grounds that he was an inferior lion, and that he was not to be the next King. But he wouldn't let his son go alone, and instead chose a random lioness, who turned out to be Batali, to accompany him. Batali was outraged, and spoke her mind about this, but the King would not listen.

Huuka and Batali both met up together at sunset, and as much as they didn't want to, set off on their way. They had no clue where they were going, and they travelled in silence. Batali was much too angry after being lumbered with this blind lion who she had never even talked to before. After a couple of days they found their way to the jungle, and decided that they would stay there. The two finally began to talk, although Batali was very short-tempered, and often snapped at him. Huuka didn't understand why she was like this to him, but after a while the two of them slowly became friends, and as much as they didn't want to admit it, they fell in love.

As they grew older, they decided that they wanted to start a family, but Huuka was much more keen to adopt so as to avoid passing his blindness down to any of his children. One day, they had found two abandoned cubs, and with no idea where their parents were, decided to take them in, naming them Chungwa and Chakavu. Huuka loved his new children deeply, and did his best to raise them before he eventually died of old age.

Relation to TLK: Was good friends with Simba during his time in the jungle, and also with Nala when she arrived. They continue to live in the jungle where Simba stayed when he was growing up.
