Personality: Kida is a very sensitive spirit, he loves to see others smile and is often the one who will make them smile. He loves going on romantic dates with his mate, Utama and coming home to his beautiful cubs. He can be very protective when it comes to the ones he loves though, he will unleash a monster inside which will tear down anyone who has harmed his family or loved ones. Kida can sometimes find it hard to trust people until they prove that they’ll keep his secret and not turn on him.

History: When Kida was little, he was a trouble child. He would always stray away from his parents and not come back for ages, he was always in trouble and found it hard to keep friends. One day, he was venturing outside of his territory when he stumbled across a hyena cub, it was tiny and struggling to stay alive, so he took it in. He had no idea how to look after a hyena cub but always bathed it, tried to feed it raw meat and slept with it at night. He returned to his family a week later, without the cub. After all, if his parents found out what he had been doing, he would be in A LOT of trouble. He just came to the hyena cub every night and sometimes wouldn’t come back home for weeks. One day he had a huge fight with his family and ran to the hyena cub. He found it in the little cave, lifeless and not breathing. Kida panicked and tried to resuscitate the small pup but it didn’t work, the hyena cub was dead. Kida burst into tears and curled up around the pup.

The next morning, Kida awoke, still with the dead pup. His eyes were red from crying and his fur was tear stained. Kida slowly picked the small cub up by the scruff of its neck and carried it to the edge of a cliff, he started a fire (Something he had learnt to do when he was very young) and cremated what he looked to as his son. After the fire had died down it was becoming evening and with one last glance at the pups remains, he kicked them off the edge of the cliff and the ashes swirled around in the warm breeze. Tears welled up in Kida’s eyes as he saw the clouds part and a small cloud emerge.. In the shape of a small hyena pup.

Facts about Kida:

 -Kida is very much afraid of the dark and asks Utama to light a fire in the cave every night before bed.
-Kida was out hunting when Utama went in labour for Sanura.
- Kida has a birthmark on his right front paw pad
