History:
Birth-
Muna is the second cub of Chaka and Akila. She has one older brother, Auni, who is future king.
Childhood-
As a cub Muna was very clumsy. She was as coordinated as her mother, the great rogue who fell in love with a Pride Lander. She was often made fun of other cubs because she was always tripping over her own paws. Muna was very sensitive so though they didn't mean to make her really upset their words hurt Muna. Her parents were always there to make her feel better.
Often Muna's father, Chaka, spent time with her trying to show her how wonderful she was but Muna didn't see herself as anything special. Muna's brother was often the one who teased but around him Muna didn't hold back. They always fought each other, much like every other brother and sister, but at the end of each day they loved each other and everyone knew it.
Often Muna would go out and explore the Pride Lands, enjoying nature and having fun. One day, Muna was out playing when she slipped and fell. She tumbled across the dusty ground. She landed hard but she was perfectly fine. Muna dusted herself off and stretched out. Just then she heard a noise. Muna turned to find rogue lions surrounding here. Muna tried to scream but her own fear made her speechless. Just then she heard something up on a small hill. "Dad!" The voice shouted. Muna looked up to see a small cub. Just then a large lion came rushing to her rescue. The lion jumped out of nowhere on top of the rogue lions. Muna closed her eyes, scared of a bloody fight she might see but only seconds later her eyes opened to find no rogues. The lion who saved her smiled and winked at her. "Those rogues are too much of cowards to fight any real lions so they go after cubs. I doubt the rogue violence will last much longer because their loosing all the fights in the south," The lion explained. Muna was too amazed to speak. As fast as the lion came he disappeared, with the little cub by his side. Muna ran back home as fast as she could. She tried to find her father but he was too busy at the moment. Muna didn't tell anyone what happened, she didn't even believe it.
Teenage years-
Muna became a very pretty lioness, her parents were very proud. Her relationship with her brother got a little better though they still often teased each other. Muna had forgot all about the strange lion that saved. She convinced herself it was nothing but a dream. Muna was being teased any more by the other cubs, but she was still just a s clumsy. One day her brother came home and didn't say a word to her, which was odd. He sulked inside the den and Muna asked what was wrong. He explained about how today he met Safiya, a lioness in the Pride Lands. Muna remembered Safiya as the lioness who never talked much. Auni went on about his story and Muna giggled. "You so have a crush on her!" She exclaimed. "I do not!" Her brother replied back. The two argued about it but Muna left knowing she was right.
Adulthood-
Muna was excited for her adult years. She wasn't as clumsy and she was very excited to go on her first hunt. Her mother was one of the best hunters, before she became a mother and had other things to worry about. Muna was confident that her mother's hunting skills were in her blood. Muna went on her first hunt and it seemed every animal was too fast, or too smart, or too big. Muna didn't want to go home without any food. She sat under a tree, watching animals go by quickly. Maybe she was a failure. Just then she heard a noise. Muna turned to see a lion, she had never met before. He didn't have the full black nose, like most rogues, and he carried a large gazelle. The handsome lion grinned and gave her the gazelle. Muna stared at him with a puzzled look. "I don't think hunting is for you," He said, "But at least don't leave your pride with nothing. Just tell your parents you don't think it's the best choice for you. They'll understand. I'm Erevu by the way."
Muna and Erevu had a small talk before she headed back home. Her parents were overjoyed to see she had caught something. Muna explained that she was not the hunter they had wanted but her parents didn't mind that she wasn't good at hunting.
The next day was the day her older brother would be crowned king. Muna went looking for Erevu before the ceremony. She found Erevu sitting by the water hole. She happily greeted him but he refused to look at her. Muna asked what was bothering him and though Erevu didn't want to he did explain that his father died this day, many years ago. Muna asked about his father and Erevu explained him to her. He was a strong and fearless lion, who hated rogues. His father went off to fight all rogues and protect prides after Erevu's mother was killed by one. Erevu followed his father and loved helping him win. Talking about his father made Erevu feel a lot better. Muna invited Erevu to join her at her brother's ceremony. Erevu followed only to find her brother was gone. The ceremony was postponed because her brother went off looking for Safiya, who disappeared. Muna was ordered to stay in the Pride Lands while her father went looking. She waited impatiently. To calm her down Erevu told more stories about his adventures with his father. Erevu then told a story about how they saved a clumsy cub who lived in the Pride Lands from a group of rogue lions. Muna looked up at him. It couldn't be true. Muna always believed she dreamed that up her was Erevu, telling her every detail she remembered. Muna told Erevu that it was possible that the small cub was her. Erevu laughed and just looked her. "I'm surprised it took you this long," He laughed. He explained even further that when his father died he came back looking for this pride. Erevu enjoyed the beautiful nature here and ever since then he had been watching everyone in this pride ,especially Muna.
When Muna's brother and father returned, with Safiya, they told the story of a couple of rogues. Auni didn't leave Safiya's side so his crowning ceremony was postponed even more. Erevu left that night but Muna followed him. She begged him to stay with the her in the pride lands. It took a little convincing but Erevu did go along. Muna's father agreed to let Erevu stay in the pride lands. Safiya soon healed and her brother became king right after. That's when Erevu asked Muna to be his mate. Muna happily accepted. After all the time they spent it didn't take long for her to fall in love with him and she had dreamed of this moment for a long time. Muna felt so safe and happy around Erevu. Now they would never leave each other.
