Appearance: Nadia has a very light colored fur which is even lighter on her belly, muzzle, toes, and around her eyes. Nadia's ears a dull red with creamy colored fur on her ear rims. She also has bright green eyes and a dusty pink nose.

Personality: Nadia is a little shy around new people and can be timid when trying new things but she is caring and sweet. She hates rogues and violence but is always looking to help.

Likes: Kovu, Playing, Chasing butterflies, Hunting, Baths

History:

Birth-

Nadia was born in a very large pride. Though her pride was large there weren't many cubs her age to play with. Her pride also lived in the south, where rogues had been destroying prides due to many reasons. Nadia's pride was attacked when she was very little for no reason. Her father was able to escape with Nadia and her mother.

Childhood-

Nadia was forced to wander around with her parents with no food or a place to go. Nadia's mother was one of the best hunters but in a place with little food to hunt it wasn't enough. Nadia was very close to her mother. Nadia's mother always tried to make things seem better than they were. Nadia promised her mother that she would always look on the bright side of things and she kept her promise for a long time.

Days soon blended together into one. The family would walk as far as they could then make camp, find some food while Nadia went off to chase a few butterflies then they would try to sleep enough to start the next day just the same. Nights were the worst for Nadia because she ended up always living in fear or the rogues. It kept her up all night.

Her mother died of starvation while they were walking in the empty plains. Nadia became very depressed after that but her mother made sure they kept going. Nadia broke her promise to her mother after that. It was all too much stress for a cub.

Not long after Nadia's father hid her under some bushes to take a nap while he hunted. Nadia was weak and thin from hunger but was always happy to get some sleep. Without her knowing it a small cub her age found her. He realized she didn't look to good and quickly went to find his father, who was the king of his pride. Nadia's father woke her up with bad news, no food. Just then the cub who found her returned with his father. Nadia's father was prepared to fight. The cub smiled at Nadia but her father jumped in between them and growled. The cub's father tried to explain that he was the king of a pride full of lions who had a terrible past due to rogue violence in the south but Nadia's father didn't listen. The small cub snuck around Nadia's father to meet Nadia. He smiled brightly and introduced himself as Kovu. "I'm Nadia," Nadia greeted him, in her low voice. The two slowly walked away from their parents, who were talking about the pride. The two had a very short conversation before Nadia's father picked her up to leave. Just then Kovu's father, Enzi, mentioned how thin and sick Nadia looked. He talked about how they had food. Nadia looked up at her father, hoping he would agree to come along. He hesitated and asked how much they really had.

Kovu jumped out and replied "Plenty!" Nadia smiled at Kovu's bubbly personality. Nadia's father agreed to come along. Nadia loved Kovu's pride. Everything was beautiful and perfect. After a good meal Nadia went off to play with Kovu. The two had more fun together than anytime before. Nadia, who is normally shy around others, came out of her shell around Kovu. the two became best friends for life.

Teenage years-

Nadia turned into a lovely teenager. She was still best friends with Kovu but now Nadia was working hard at her dream. She wanted to be just like her mother and become one of the best hunters in the pride. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. Nadia even started to spend more time with her father. They never got a lot of time together and they were never that close but now they were more like friends than a parent and a child.

Adulthood-

Nadia did achieve her dream and became the leader of hunting parties. She was very happy. Kovu became king of the pride and Nadia was very proud. They spent more time together and Nadia noticed Kovu was talking about when they were cubs more. Nadia realized he was the reason she was alive and couldn't be more thankful. She also began to think about him more but in a new way. She always thought he was handsome but did she thing he was beautiful? Nadia spent a lot of time alone to think about this and soon she realized. How could it take her this long to realize she loved him?

One morning, before the sun had even risen, Kovu took her out on the highest point in the land. They watched the sun rise and Kovu was trying to tell her something. Nadia noticed how nervous he was but she wasn't at all. She was never shy around him, he seemed to complete her. Nadia finally confessed that she liked him and asked if they could ever be more than friends. Kovu was overjoyed. He quickly asked her to become his queen and Nadia, blushing, said yes. They now spend their time ruling their pride together.
