History: Bernard is older than Alice, and is in charge of her. When his parents told him they had got rid of Alice, Bernard shouted at them and ran off to find her. However, he got lost and travelled a long time looking for Alce. One day he saw a lion, lioness, a lion cub and a lioness cub taking a walk. The girl looked familiar, and then he realised it was Alice! He shouted and ran over to her, glad to finally see his sister. But, who were these strangers? "Um, mom, who is he?" Alice asked, ducking behind the adult lioness. "Alice, its me, Bernard, your brother!" Bernard prosested. Then he took another look. Alice must have been adopted, but who was the lion cub? "No you are not, James is my brother!" Alice shouted at him. Bernard sighed and walked away. The next day, Alice apologised to him about shouting at him, and Bernard guessed that her "parents" told her she was adopted. He became friends with James, and Amy and Brandon adopted him. He was also saved by a lion called Akin, and soon had a crush on him. However, his real parents came back to collect him and Alice, simply because she was alive. Brandon and Amy battled against them, and won. However, Brandon died fighting to protect his family. A funeral was held for him, and Akin came to sit next to Bernard. Two days later Bernard admitted his feelings to Akin and was delighted to find Akin felt the same way. They began to go out but payed the price. Bernard grew up without a father and was also teased for going out with Akin.. Bernard grew into a wise young lion, but was still not interested in girls. He was very sensitive and got upset easily. So he called Akin over one day and begged him to leave the pride with him. Akin agreed and they soon left the pride, possibly to never return
