Appearance: Maku has a very creamy brown fur which is lighter on his belly, muzzle, toes, and around his eyes. Maku also has a brown tuff of fur on his head as a cub and deep, dark red eyes.

Personality: Maku is a charming cub who thinks highly of himself. He tends to think he is the best at anything and is able to do things by himself but also enjoys goofing off and playing. Maku is also very protective over the ones he loves.

History:

When Maku was born, his mother died and he then to be cared for by lioness. Many lioness took care of him after that but Neema seemed to be the one most attached.

Maku was always a very playful cub. He enjoyed playing and showing off to the other cubs. He loved being the best he could be and he promised the other cubs that when he got older, he would grow up to become a mighty warrior who protects his pride with his own life. The other cubs were very impressed by this and enjoyed his stories about who he will be in the future. Maku loved the attention but mostly he just liked promising people that one day he would be able to protect them, and make their lives better.

One day Maku was out alone when he saw Tiarnah, a cub who also lived in the pride lands. He had only talked to her a few times, and that was with a big crowd of other cubs. Maku decided to say hi and move on but he noticed she was acting nervous. Maku went up to her and simply asked what was wrong. Tiarnah explained that this strange cub would pop out of anywhere just to scare her. It seemed she wasn't safe at all and she was afraid the cub might hurt her. Maku hated seeing her like this. Maku couldn't stand seeing a pretty girl upset or scared. He made a promise to her that if anything happened he would help, scare off the strange cub and even fight if he had to. That made Tiarnah feel safe. She had her father, and Maku watching over her. The two spent some time together and Maku did put on the charm around her. Maku acted very flirty to hide the fact that he was a little nervous. Normally the crowd of cubs he told stories to where his best friends who were all boys but to Maku Tiarnah was so beautiful and fun to be around with. He could only hope she liked him as much as he liked her.

Time went by with no sign of the strange cub. Then finally Maku spotted the cub. He raced towards the cub to yell at her to leave Tiarnah alone. He jumped at the cub, and scared her that's when Tiarnah came out. "Maku, it's okay," She laughed, "She's nice." Maku laughed at himself and knew it must be ok. Tiarnah was fine and the cub didn't look that scary to him. The three even enjoyed a fun day of play together but Maku was afraid the cub would get back at him for scaring her.
