Personality: Gentle and Kind, Shanti can be the most caring lioness in all of the Pridelands on her good days.  Instead of bothering others with her problems, she would usually wonder off alone.  She is headstrong and very independent

History: Shanti was born and raised in the pridelands.  Independent and an Adventurer, She became good friends with Uru, Aza, and Dojo.  They were the fearsome foursome and always made time to play.  Months later, a little golden cub named Ahadi joined the group.  Being an orphan, he was taken in by Mohatu and whether he knew it or not, he had stolen Uru's heart.  Since Shanti and Uru were close, she knew everything about what Uru thought, and even was concidered her adviser.

      When Shanti became a teenager, she became more independent then before.  Being a group of five, Aza and Dojo paired up and Uru and Ahadi paired up.  But Shanti seemed to be alone.  However, during a hunt alone, she had found a rogue being pestered by a large group of hyenas for his kill.  Shanti jumped in and helped fend off the hyenas.  The rogue introduced himself as Tou and spent the rest of the day with her.  She came back to see him for days, until finally she got the nerve to be her mate and come back to the pride with her.  And of course he accepted.

      The two lived happily with eachother and had two beautiful girls named Sarabi and Naanda.  She lived until the beginning of Mufasa's reign where she died from an unknown illness
