Personality: Nadia is a feisty and strong-headed lioness, with a mind of her own. If she doesn’t believe in something she will fight against it until she believes that it is right. She is very warm-hearted though with her loved ones, and will stand by her words no matter what, even if it means her life. She’s also a rule-breaker, and isn’t afraid to get in trouble. She’s also very sympathetic, and a trait that her enemies would use against her; she gives pity to anyone or thing that needs help. She also has a sharp tongue, and isn’t afraid to snap at others, even her parents or elders. She’s also very playful, often making up jokes and playing pranks. She’s also very daring and courageous, which sometimes gets her into trouble. Overall though she’s a tough girl with a strong mind, but underneath she’s a very loving lioness.

History:

Nadia was the last born of Kovu and Kiara’s litter. Despite being the last born she gave both of her parents hope, so they named her Nadia, which meant hope. Nadia grew up and was just like her mother when she was a cub, only times that by ten. She always played around with her siblings, and they all had a very good bond. However, Nadia would often go out on her own to explore, but would eventually be caught. She was a good cub though, and the whole pride loved her dearly. After a few weeks though Nadia and her siblings weren't allowed to leave Pride Rock. She asked her mother about this and Kiara told her that a nearby pride was invading the Pridelands and that they wanted to keep the cubs safe. The siblings understood this, but when they were older cubs 5 lions from the Mountain Pride came to Pride Rock with important news. They told the Pridelanders how their pride would make a trade. Kiara was skeptical, but Kovu was interested. He asked them what they wanted, and the leader of the group declared that King Enzo’s son, Prince Amir, needed a future mate, for he was a cub. But King Enzo decided that no female was suitable for him. Enzo wanted his son’s future mate to be from the Pridelands. They also told Kovu that the lioness he picked would then be in their pride, and that she couldn’t leave. They would have to visit her. The lionesses were outraged, but Kovu asked what he would get in return. The group leader told him that the Mountain Pride wouldn’t raid prey from the Pridelands and wouldn’t attack them. Kovu immediately and without hesitation accepted the deal, much to his pride’s dismay. The Mountain Pride members left, saying that they would come back in a few days for Prince Amir’s future mate. Kovu discussed things with Kiara, for he knew that they needed to give the Prince Amir a good mate. The Mountain Pride would go back on their word if they weren’t happy. Kiara was still upset with Kovu and didn’t help him out much with the decision, so Kovu was left to figure it out to himself. Nadia was a bit worried over who would go, and was shocked when the lions came back and Kovu announced that Nadia would be going. Kiara was angered at this, and Nadia siblings were shocked. The Mountain lions, however, ignored the protests of Nadia being taken away by the Pridelanders and the largest lion picked her up and carried her away. Nadia cried out but her family couldn’t do anything about it. They arrived in the mountains, and there was snow everywhere, so Nadia got cold fairly quickly. However, the Queen of the pride, Adelaide, was very kind and took Nadia to her den, where it was warm. Nadia refused to talk though, still being upset about her father’s decision. Adelaide told her that she was sorry about what had happened, but Nadia was still angry. A few days past when finally Nadia met Amir. He was around her age, and Nadia wasn’t surprised when he acted like a spoiled brat. Then she met King Enzo. He was a big and strong lion, but Nadia wasn’t fond of him. After the past few days she was forced to spend more time with Amir, who would always show off to her. Enzo wasn’t any better because he usually was the one forcing Nadia to spend time with his son. Enzo could see that Nadia didn’t like his son, so when they were teens he arranged the marriage early for his son and Nadia. Amir was happy at this, while Nadia was furious, but she couldn’t speak out against it. A few days after the marriage Nadia snuck off to be on her own when she bumped into a lion around her age. He told her that his name was Chaka, and she told him that her name was Nadia. The two soon began meeting, and after a few weeks the two had fallen in love. Amir, however, also fell deeply in love with Nadia, but she despised him. Nadia though would often find ways to sneak off to be with Chaka, and all was running smoothly until Amir followed Nadia one day and found her with Chaka. He was furious and chased Chaka away. He then took Nadia back to his pride, and announced what she had been doing. Adelaide was sad for her, while Enzo was angry and gave Nadia escorts when she wasn’t with Amir. It remained like this for a while until one night when she was in her den she woke up to hear a familiar voice. She got up and saw Chaka. He told her that they didn’t have much time, and with great joy Nadia crept out of the den and joined Chaka. They raced away from the Mountain Pride and the Pridelands. They weren’t going to return for a while, but they were together, and that was all that mattered.
