Personality: Tosca is a loyal lioness, she will stick by anyone she loves no matter what, she is an excellent teacher and loves to be around young cubs. She can have a temper and hates to see those in pain especially family or friends.

History: Tosca was born in a mountain pride to the lead lion and lioness, the pride was ruled by the old ways so she grew up among both her full and half-siblings and was taught that one day a new male would take over from her father and take her and all her sisters as mates, she didn't like this but it was all she ever knew.

Unfortunately, her father died before any new male could replace him which left the pride in a difficult situation, all the young males had been driven away and the lionesses didn't know how to rule the pride on their own. For a while the pride were left with no male to take over them.

One day, however, their luck changed when a badly injured male was discovered on the edge of the territroy by a hunting party. He was brought back to the pride and cared for until he was able to explain what had happened to him. It turned out his name was Malka and he had a pride of his own on the other side of the mountains but had been bested by another male and badly injured, he barely managed to get away and collapsed from his injuries near their territory.

Malka was soon made pride leader and he did away with the old laws, a move that many felt uncomfortable with but soon embraced as it meant the pride could have cubs with other mates. Malka took Tosca as his queen and the lioness was soon in love with him, she gave him three daughters soon after.

Eventually, Malka became very ill as he got older and so most of the responsiblity was put on his eldest daughter Asya's shoulders with Tosca there to assist her if she needed it. Malka continued to get sicker and sicker and it broke Tosca's heart to see him deteriate. Before he died he made the decision to betroth Asya to the prince of a neighbouring kingdom, Tosca was hesitant about this but in the end agreed.
