Personality: Keane is a very witty lion, and has an odd and dark sense of humor. He’s very sarcastic, and often makes crude comments about others. Despite this, he is very intelligent, and is fast to react to a situation. He also doesn’t show it much, but he’s a big softie for cubs and Illah, and would do anything for his loved ones.

History: Keane was born near a large waterhole. There was plenty of food and water too. One day he went out to wander on his own, when a large brown lion found him and took him away. The lion took him to another land, far from his home, and told Keane that his name was Mohatu. Mohatu let him stay at his home, and Keane was to scared to go back to his home. The pride didn’t trust Keane that well, but Illah, one of Mohatu’s daughters, became one of his closet friends. Keane soon lost track of the months, and pretty soon he was a young teen, and he was still living with Mohatu. Soon there was a fire near where Keane used to live, and Keane went out to find his pride. When he arrived at the land where he once lived, he was horrified at the scene that he saw. The land was covered with ash, and all of the land he once knew was gone. His pride was dead. He returned to Mohatu's pride and announced that he was leaving. Mohatu was sad, but accepted his decision. Illah however, took it hard, and confronted Keane about leaving. They got in a huge fight and Keane ended up storming away from the pride. Keane traveled alone for most of his life, and one day, he decided that he needed to settle the bad blood between him and Illah. He returned to Mohatu's home, and the whole pride was furious to see him, including Illah. He stated that he wanted to apologize to Illah, and the way that he treated her. Illah forgave him, and with a little help from Mohatu, persuaded the pride to let him stay. Keane was happy about this, and as time went on he began to fall in love with Illah. A few weeks after his return, he told her, and she confirmed her feelings for him as well. The two then soon became mates.
