Personality: Zale is older than his sister and is therefore the leader. He loves to boss her about and play with his cousins. Zale finds it funny to prank othe rand sneak up on them. Unfortunately for him, when he tried this with Shaka, who was used to that sort of thing, Zale was the one who was sneaked up on and pranked at the same time! Zale is a very fierce cub who protects his family and can explode quickly.

History: Zale was born a few months before his sister, and was a bit annoyed when Gana came along, as he was worried she was going to take his place. But Zale eventually realised that she wasn't going to do that, Gana was too quiet. Then a few days later when Zale was playing with Gana and his cousins, Gana met a young, strong lion called Shaka, Zale grew jealous because he did not have a mate, so tried to trick Shaka, but only got what Shaka called "the joke on him" which annoyed Zale. As an adult, Zale was about to defend Gana when Shaka fought instead, which made Zale's jealousy grow, even though they were friends.
