Personality: Shaka is a confident, impatient lion with an annoying can do, will do attitide. He loves to run around getting into mischeif with the hyeneas then pretend to die so that he can rub it in their faces that he survived. Shaka can usually be found running fronm the hyenas, winding them up or with Gana. Ever since he met her, Shaka has grown more mature, but won't grow out of teasing the hyenas. Gana often goes along with what Shaka does.

History: Shaka was born alone and his mother died in a fire. Thus Shaka's father looked after him and they had to move to another pride. Shaka was bored the first day he arrived and saw some hyenas. Seizing his chance, Shaka went running after them and decided to annoy them. When he told them that they were too slow to kill anything, they started chasing Shaka, who just laughed merrily at them as he fled. Shaka turned a corner and didn't look where he was going. Shaka collided with a young lioness and instently forgot why he was running. He found out that the lioness was princess Gana, but Gana didn't want him to keep adressing her as royalty. As Shaka challenged her to a game of tag, he remembered why he was running. The hyenas surrounded them, but Shaka stood up for Gana in an attempt to protect her. They set off a stampede, and although Shaka was actually hurt, he wasn't killed. Shaka didn't understand at first why Gana was so relived, but then he remembered that she didn't know him that well. So Shaka explained that the hyenas were never going to kill him. A few years later, Shaka protected Gana from his enemy, Slade, that killed his father. After a long, hard battle and a near escape from death, Shaka eventually killed Slade. He and Gana soon became mates after he had protected her from Slade and had three cubs
