Personality: Is quiet but enjoys talking. He is kind and gentle. He and his brother and sister obey their parents and prefer to behave and not cause trouble. Njozi and Adisa are the most important people in his life and he loves them dearly. As the eldest of his siblings he feels it is his duty to protect them and be in charge of them when his father is busy with his work. As much as he loved his first mother, the lioness Saada proves to be more of a true mother to him and his siblings, especially in the way she supports their father. When his father and Saada marries he hopes for peace in the family and prays it continues. When his uncle marries and his slight hopes of being the new king are dashed he is not displeased. His greatest wish, and that of his siblings, was the King marrying and being happy for the rest of his life.

History: The first born son of Prince Arif and the late Princess Akase of the Pridelands. Brother to Prince Adisa and Princess Njozi and best friend of the Pridelands guardians’ children. His name means ‘good manners’ and he lives up to it in all ways possible. He loves his siblings as much as a brother could and enjoys playing with them and their friends in the grasses but when push comes to shove he can be serious and would do anything to make sure his siblings are safe and well cared for. He loves his parents, but when his father starts pulling away from his family he is the first to pass no judgment but rather sticks to his loyalty and instincts. Once his parents separate it’s up to him to keep his siblings together. Since he is the firstborn to a Prince of the Pridelands and his uncle, the King has no children of his own it is whispered that Prince Adabu will be the next in line to the throne. He knows it is a possibility but he doesn’t let it go to his head. He prefers to hope for the day his uncle marries and has children of his own but keeps the possibility of him being the next king buried in his mind. He has a strong bond with a daughter of the Pridelander guardian and hopes to join her and her family on their patrols through the kingdom. When his father starts developing feelings for Saada he is pleased and hopes the two marry. His hopes come true when his father and Saada do marry in a double ceremony with Baraka and Etana. Knowing that one day his uncle and new aunt will have cubs he’d rather relinquish the idea of being the next king and let a future cousin – male or female – take over as it is more their rightful place than his own.
