History:
Jace was born in the wretched outlands. His mother was a older lioness, and was very cranky in her advanced age. She was ruthless, and she didnt really want another mouth to feed. She had a affair with a Pridelands lion, and unfortunately became pregnant with Jace.
Jace nearly starved to death at birth when his mother left him to make up her mind whether to kill him, abandon him, or keep him. Some motherly instincts must have kicked in, for she decided to keep her son.
Jace grew and grew. He was playful, always trying to playw ith his mother. But she was snap at him, or claw him. He never gave up trying to play and be affectionate with his mother until the day she slapped him so hard it gouged him on the neck, leaving three pale scars. Jace's mother was gone for days and days on end. Then she would return to find her half-starved son and remember to get him so food. Jace endured this until he was fully grown. The scars on his neck were covered with a thick mane.
And then his mother didnt come back. She abandoned him. Jace was plenty old enough to survive by himself... except that he didnt know how to hunt. Luckily, he met a stunning lioness that was about his age. She was a Pridelander though, so they werent suppossed to react with each other. But she taught him. Every day they would meet at the border, and Isis would sneak him into Pridelands territory for a short time. They ended up falling in love, and secretly became mates.
But King Kovu noticed Isis leaving Pride Rock at the same time of day, and followed her. He saw her meet Jace. He caught them, and immediately banned their love. Jace never saw Isis again. He slowly got over her, although he missed her every day. he is thankful for the time he spent with that beautiful lioness.
He is moving on with life.
