Appearance: He has very nearly the same fur colour as Kiara but his mane and tail colours are his father's. He had a pointed tuft of hair on his chin and his front claws are always out, his mane flops over on one side and his eyes are deep green

History: Kiubi was born in the pridelands in pride rock. His mother and father were Kiara and Kovu and he was next in line. Kiubi was adored by everyone on pride rock and he loved all the attention, he was taught by Simba about the Great Kings of the Past and the Circle of Life. He had many friends, including several young lionesses who had a bit of a crush on him, and he was very popular.

But everything changed when Kiara and Kovu had their second cub. It was a beautiful female who they called Bema, they were very proud of her and she was loved by everyone in pride rock. Well nearly everyone. When she was born, everyone seemed to forget about Kiubi and he knew he was now second best. He hated his younger sister and the only other lion that agreed with him was Imara.

Imara had been one of the outlanders but had joined Simba's pride when Zira and died. Unbeknownst to everyone, she was really plotting behind eveyone's back to destroy Simba and Kiara. Imara believed that Kiara had stolen her mate Kovu away from her and in doing so killed Imara's only cub. Imara and Kovu were arranged mates, when Kovu went off with Kiara, Imara was about to have her cub. But the cub died during the birthing process and Imara blamed it on Kiara. When Zira died, Imara made a promise that she would finish was Ziar had started and follow in her father's (Scar) footsteps. She met up with her half brother Sango and they arranged to help each other in their goals. Sango had come to avenge Scar's death and destory Simba. But if they were going to get close to Simba and Kiara they would have to work their way into the pride.

Imara and Kiubi got along well, they would talk for hours on end and Imara started to look as a motherly figure to Kiubi. One day, when Kiubi particularly disliked his sister, Imara led him away to meet Sango. They told him that they were related and that Kiubi could be a part of their family too, Kiubi agreed and they ran away from pride rock to the outlands. There, Imara twisted Kiubi's mind so he hated everything to do with pride rock. They trained him up and taught him everything they knew. He would be their secret weapon, he was by far younger than either of them and far stronger.

Back a pride rock, Kiara and Kovu sent out search parties looking for their cub but they never found him. They resigned to the fact that their cub may be dead. Kiubi grew into a strong lion that had blackness in his heart, he hated his sister, his mother and everything about pride rock, but he had a rebellious streak. He hated being cooped up and longed to get into the pridelands. Imara loved Kiubi with all her heart, she knew that he could've easily been her and Kovu's cub, but she didn't allow him to go into the pride lands.
