Personality: Heru's very tough and quiet. He's independent and prefers to be alone, but he has a soft side around the ones he loves. He can be very sweet and he's a lot more timid than he shows.

History: Heru was born and raised in the Outlands. He was born soon after Nuka's death to his mate, Adaeze, who was known as the "princess of the Outlands" or "evil princess." She had won the approval of Zira, and was betrothed to Nuka. Adaeze was the only one who hadn't know Nuka died besides her mother who was protecting her during the birth process. Adaeze was known not to have any emotions, but once she found out Nuka died she was deppressed. She often neglected Heru when he was a young cub because of her deppression but she tried her best to raise him. Zira helped her with raising him and taught him to hate Simba, just like she had done to Kovu and the others. Heru had hated Simba and never feared him, until they met. Heru had been wandering the elephant graveyard, where he encountered Simba. Heru hadn't realized how large and powerful Simba was, and he started to show his fear for once. They fought quickly and surprisingly Heru won, almost killing the king. Heru hadn't realized how strong he was until that day, and fear and regret washed over him as he saw the king struggling to live and heard Nala racing over. He ran back to the Outlands and never wandered too far from his territory again. One day, he saw a lioness and her cub resting under a tree to protect them from the scorching African sun. He padded over to them and became friends with the fellow outlanders. He protects them when they need it and grew very close to Bambi, and she became his best friend, and his feelings continue to grow for her everyday.
