Personality: Tau is the complete opposite of his brother, Takitu. Tau is shy around lionesses, and isn't exactly popular among groups. Although, both him and his brother are caring and kind, but Tau's more than Takitu. Tau is the serious type, so you can never tell if he's being sarcastic or if he's being serious. He rarely shows the fun side to himself, since he didn't have many friends when he was a cub.

History: Tau was born a minute before his brother, but instead of using this as a weapon at times, he instead treated his brother as an equal. The two were both taken in by a lioness from the neighboring pride, since their parents had been captured. However, Tau did remember what had happened, but instead of telling his brother that the lioness wasn't actually their mother, he allowed his brother to think of her as that anyways. Later on, as they grew up, they left in search of another pride, but instead his brother became a womanizer, and that was the last time he had actually seen or heard of Takitu. Tau kept low for about a year, and made the jungle near the desert his home. Sadly, Tau was killed by the waterfall, because he had slipped and landed in a pile of rocks, immediately killing him from just one blow in the head.

*After death: Takitu had heard about his brother's death by a lioness, who said she had found a male dead on some rocks by a waterfall. He had to confirm this, and once he visited the waterfall, guilt smothered him. He had wished he had spent more time with his brother before he died, and if he could, he would take it all back. Although, Tau's spirit still lingered around the jungle, but his brother could not see or hear him. When the day Tau met Takitu's mate, Bahati, she had been attacked by Demona, who was betrothed to Takitu in their old pride. Tau realized that Bahati could see him, and he was shocked by how accurate she had been when she asked if Takitu was his brother. Sadly, Bahati had been pregnant, and the attack from Demona caused her cubs to be born premature. Takitu came back to his mate just in time for both of the cubs to be born, but one wasn't breathing. Tau sacrficed his soul for the young cub's life, and became one with the cub. His memory of his past life had been erased, but his personality stayed the same. Thus, Bahati chose the name, Tau, for her son.
