Name: Kaliona (meaning 'one lion' in Hawaiian)

Distinguishing Features: Looks like Kiara but with her mother's colours. Coloured paws only. Dark brown tail tuft. Green eyes. Pridelander nose. Eye patches.

Personality: Kaliona is avery calm and quiet lioness. She doesn't enjoy battles and hates noise. She mostly loves the peace and quiet. She is not afraid of anything but is very cautious. She hates rogue lions and will do anything to chase them off.

History: Kaliona was born to Janet and Simon. She loved playing with her brother Kefir. When they both were old enough to be taken off milk, a killing disease spread through the zoo. Janet and Simon didn't want their cubs dieing, so took them away and left them in the Pridelands. Safari came along and took them both back to Pride Rock. He left them both in the care of one of the lionesses. Kaliona loved to hang out with Safari's cubs Hadi and Adia. They all became good friends. Kaliona wasn't as daring and bold as her brother, and preferred to be alone sometimes. She had a secret cave which she had found when she was a cub in the back of Pride Rock. She hid in the cave and got some time to herself. Kaliona loved to hang around Uzuri. She was trained in battle and hunting skill by her. She grew strong. When she grew up, she and Hadi began to spend quality time with each other while Kefir and Adia went off together. She began to have feelings for Hadi but put them aside as he only thought of her as a friend. She wanted to tell him how she really felt about him, but knew what he would say. So, she kept her feelings to herself. She and Hadi grew closer. Once, she told Uzuri how she felt and Uzuri reassured her by saying that there would be more lions. But, Kaliona was glad that she had a friend whom she could really trust. But soon, she began to see sights of a rogue lion named Buck. She acted hostile to him. She then saw that he had killed Simba to become king. She hated him more. But a few days later, he nearly sacrificed his life to protect the Pridelands from a dangerous rogue. He then asked her if she wanted to be his mate and she agreeed on one condition: they had to form a pride. So, Kaliona left the pride to start her own with him.

Relation to TLK: Had a crush on Hadi whose mother is the sister of Mheetu and Nala.
