There are times when Safari is unsure of where his loyalties lie. He loves his two cubs and his brother. But under a soft pelt of love and care, there's a monster that lives to rise when Safari's loved ones are harmed in any way.

History: Safari never knew his parents. The young lion cub was raised away from The Pridelands in a zoo. All he knew was that he was born in the Pridelands but taken away immediatley by humans as his parents died protecting him against poachers. He grew up with the zookeepers and enjoyed having human company. But his being in the zoo caused many animal-rights groups to protest againt raising the young cub. The keepers knew that he was too young to be alone so they began to train him to fend for himself in the wild. When he turned three, the keepers set him free in The Pridelands. Safari didn't know what to do untill he spotted Pride Rock and began to make for it. But soon he was attacked by a lioness and his predator instincts kicked in. But the lioness pinned him down. She realised that he had been raised by humans by looking into his eyes. She introduced herself as Uzuri, sister to the queen of Pride Rock. She took him back with her and introduced her to the king and queen, Simba and Nala. They allowed Safari to stay in the pride. He soon got to know the rest of the Pridelanders. Uzuri showed him all over the territory and he began to fall for her. Soon, the two fell in love and became mates. Unknown to Safari, his human keepers still kept a watch on the young lion. He would remember them for as long as he lived for he was not only a cub they raised but a member of their family. Years later, when his cubs grew up, Rafiki told Safari the story of how his parents died. Safari also got to know he had a sister and a brother. But they had been missing for years. Safari set out on a long quest to find his long-lost siblings. Days after he left, he bumped into a light gray lioness. She looked so familiar. He then recognised her as his sister. She told him her name was Nuru. He told her everything and asked her to come back with him. She agreed. Safari then set out to find his brother. The information Rafiki had given him about his brother told him that he was a rogue. Nuru and Safari travelled for days until they finally met a white lion with a red mane. The lion had Safari's eyes. Safari and Nuru recognised him as their brother. They found out his name was Sergei. Safari asked him to come back with them, but Sergei declined. Safari promised to visit his brother whenever possible.Safari then returned to Pride Rock with Nuru and began to lead a normal life.
