Design: When she is an adult, she looks a lot like Sarabi. Her colors are based off of Mohatu (Sarabi's father) and she has an amber eye, which is common in most of the characters, and one green eye which she inherited from Scar and Uru. Her upper "eye shadow" was enherited from Uru as well. She has Mufasa's red mane on her tail and her unfading cub spots are a foreing gene that only she has.

History:

It was the day of Mufasa's death that Sarabi discovered she was expecting a cub. Terrified that her cub would die as her mate and son did, Sarabi neglected her daughter as soon as she was born. Sarafina, who had recently had her second cub, Mheetu, took Alli under her wing and fed the neglected cub. Sarafina persuaded Sarabi into caring for Alli so that the cub would know Sarabi was her mother and not Sarafina.

When Alli was old enough to wean from Sarafina's side, she spent as much time as she could with Sarabi. Even though Alli was in line for the throne after Scar because Simba had "died", Scar refused to let a female be his successor. Sarabi tried not to get attached to her cub, in fear that if she did, Alli would die, so the cub felt very neglected by her.

Mheetu, the only cub in the pride since Nala had grown out of "silly cub games", started finding ways to entertain himself by teasing Alli. The teasing started out pretty mild until it turned to bullying. He would often push her into a corner and bully her by saying how her family was cursed because Mufasa and Simba died and Sarabi hated Alli. When he would get bored of teasing her, he would abandon the cub, sobbing on the ground. Sarafina and Sarabi didn't find out about Mheetu's bullying until one day when he corner Alli in the den and harrassed her about Simba - saying her brother would be disgusted to have such a pitiful sister.

After a few weeks, Sarafina allowed Mheetu to leave the den and play outside of pride rock. Mheetu apologized to Alli, saying that he just made fun of her because Nala didn't like him. Alli accepted his apology and the two soon became the best of friends.

One day, Alli and Mheetu were spying on Scar, trying to see what he did all day cooped up in his den, when they discovered a plan. Scar had been speaking to his hyenas about his plan to take Nala as his mate, hoping that she might give him a suitable male heir since his queen, Zira, could not produce a proper one. The two young lions hurried to find Nala and told her to leave the pridelands and find help for the pride. Nala was relunctant to go until they told her about Scar's plan. Nala left immediatly without even saying goodbye to Sarafina or the rest of the pride.

Life in the pride was terrible after Nala left. Hyenas always lurking around and Scar making unfair demands from the lionesses. Alli and Mheetu hardly got to see each other because Alli was always out hunting for Scar and his hyenas. Scar didn't seem threatened by Mheetu, knowing the male could not steal his throne with all the hyenas to protect the king.

When Simba and Nala returned, Alli and Mheetu saw the hyenas and the pride fighting, so they made sure the fire spread to pride rock and hopefully kill the hyenas. As they watched from the base of the rock, Alli noticed a strange male lion who they had never seen before. Chasing after him, Mheetu and Alli found the lion and Nala in the den, surrounding what looked like a lump of fur. As they got closer, the two realized the "lump of fur" was actually Sarafina. Her body was scratched and looked as though she had put up quiet a fight with whoever attacked her. After burying Sarafina's body after the fire died out, they discovered that the strange lion was actually Nala and Mheetu's older brother. (Go to Romeo's character page for more information)

After Simba assumed his rightful place as the king, Alli and Mheetu became mates and now live in the pride, happily expecting cubs of their own.
