Hates: When people are rude to her, being separated from loved ones, being in the Outlands by herself, Nuka, Zira, eating old meat, being made fun of, negative people, being confined in a cave, staying in the same place all the time, staying quiet, when no-one laughs at her jokes, being alone, the feeling of being useless, large crowds, storms

History:  When Taimi was born, her parents were absolutely thrilled. They had always wanted a cub, even though their lifestyle was quite a tough one. They were travelling lions, and almost never settled in one place for long. Taimi adjusted to this lifestyle well though, but it wasn’t always so easy. When she was really young, her ‘pride’ stayed in the same place for just a while longer than usual, so they could make sure Taimi was fine to be a traveler like her parents. When it was time for them to leave, sure Taimi would be able to handle it, the small cub didn’t want to go. She cried, and dug her claws into the ground every time one of the adults tried to pick her up so they could get going. Eventually, her mother, Tswana, managed to persuade her that leaving would be a good thing, and told her of all the exciting things they could discover and do. Taimi always loved trying new things, so as soon as she was told she was raring to go.Taimi quickly got used to this new lifestyle, and loved making new friends in all the new places that the 'pride' travelled to. It wasn't long until they stumbled upon a place called the Pridelands. Taimi noticed a strange rock formation in the distance, and when she asked her father Sesotho about it, he told her to stay away, as that was where a pride of lions named the Pridelanders lived, and since he didn't know much about them he didn't want to risk anything. Taimi agreed to stay away from the strange rocks, and instead preferred to explore and play at a small waterhole, near to a place which she was told was called the Outlands.

One day, she decided to enter these strange lands, as her father had not advised her against it, like he had going near Pride Rock, which she had learned the name of. Unknown to her, Sesotho had not told her not to enter the Outlands as he thought that from the look of it, she wouldn't want to. As Taimi wandered through the desolate, barren lands, she saw another cub playing with a treeroot in the distance. She made her way over, expecting the cub to be happy to have a friend, but when Taimi announced her presence, the cub snapped at her, and leapt, pinning her to the ground. The cub told her that her name was Vitani, and demanded to know what Taimi was doing there, and if she was a Pridelander. Taimi quickly told her who she was, and Vitani scowled down at her, and backed off. Althought she seemed hostile at first, Taimi still felt like Vitani could be a good friend, so she asked if she would like to play. Vitani looked surprised, as she didn't know exactly what 'playing' would entail, but she accepted anyway, and the two played for a while before Taimi decided she had better get home, and she told Vitani she would see her sometime soon. During another one of Taimi's exploring days, she met another new cub, who she learned was named Kiara. They also enjoyed a day of playing together, but Taimi did not learn that her new friend was going to be the Queen of the Pridelands until she told her mother, who had heard about Kiara from a few rogue lionesses she had met while they were staying there. Tswana thought that Taimi being friends with Kiara would be risky, but seeing that her daughter was happy, decided not to tell Sesotho about it.

As Taimi and her group moved around, they met many other new friends, which Taimi would play with each time they visited. But there was one special friend that Taimi would always miss the most when she was away from them.  His name was Diablo, and Taimi had met him when her 'Pride' had met up with another group of travelling lions, that were friends of her own. He was the only cub in the group, just like Taimi was in her's, so they both understood what it was like for each-other. They enjoyed playing with each-other, and Taimi felt like she liked him a lot more than any of her other friends. When she asked her mother about these feelings, she was told that Taimi had a 'crush' on Diablo. Glad that she had finally found out what she was feeling, she told Diablo about it, and he confessed he had some of these feelings for her too. They continued to play as normal though, but when it was time for the two groups to seperate, they were both fairly upset at having to leave each-other. But Disablo promised that they would meet again, and that they would stay together for the rest of their lives. Taimi trusted these words, and with a quick nuzzle, they went their seperate ways with their respective groups. Taimi soon grew into a beautiful lioness, and couldn't wait to see Diablo again. But as her group continued to roam around, they never came across the other group of lions that contained Diablo.

Taimi was beginning to lose hope of seeing her best friend again, when one day she was resting of a rock when she noticed figures in the distance. She got to her feet, thinking they could be the Pride that ruled over the lands that they were currently resting in, but she noticed that the group looked much too small to be a Pride. As they moved closer and closer, Taimi thought she could recognize someone... and then it hit her. It was Diablo and his group! She rushed down towards them, and stopped just in front of Diablo, smiling up at him. Diablo was confused for a moment, before he realized it was Taimi. He smiled back at her, nuzzling her. Later, as they lay side by side in the long grass, catching up with each-other, Diablo came up with the idea that they should settle down somewhere. Taimi was somewhat skeptical, as they had both been travellers their whole lives, but she soon warmed to the idea. About a week later, ss soon as they had both said their goodbyes to their families, they set off together, looking to find a place to call home. After a while, they came across a couple of unoccupied caves that weren't too far from the Pridelands, and that is where they choosed to settle down. Taimi still likes to make the journey to the Pridelands to visit her friends, and hopes that one day herself and Diablo can have a little family, or even Pride, all to themselves.

Relation to TLK: She travelled through the Pridelands and Outlands often, and used  to play with Vitani or Kiara when she did visit. Returns there sometimes to catch up with her old friends.
