Bundi was the second born in Kiara and Kovus frist litter, as the second born he was to be the next lion guard leader , when to young to leave the cave they would sometimes be looked after by there aunt Vitani who also had a cub Kuzira , a few weeks after he was born a large storm hit the pridelands, Bundi remembers watching the weather with his sister and cousin. once the weather cleared up Kovu offered to stay in the den with the cubs while Kiara and Vitani went out to make sure ther pridelanders where okay.Bundi and the girls would soon sleep, only to wake when Kiara and Vitani returned with a cub. Kuna. Kuna would be raised along side the three becomeing like a sibling to them

Once he was the right age ,he was allowed to explore the pridelands, he of course went out with his friends they would explore the pridelands togeather ,they made friends with other animals , one day once they returned from there play a lionness was at the pride with two cubs about the same age, this was Kufa and Kuishi , they where to join the pride, these two new cubs soon became part of the group. Kufa would soon try to become close to Kata as he wanted to be future king so Kuishi, Kuna and Bundi would often go off alone while the others did there own thing. one day Bundi found a gorge , he and Kuishi wanted to go explore but Kuna wasnt sure, she stayed at the top and the boys explored, Bundi and Kuishi while exploring got the idea to try and see if they could get there roar to echo , Kuishi went frist , it was loud and Bundi was impressed when he tryed somthing weird happened the sky darkened and Bundi was sure he saw lions in the clouds. he looked at Kuishi confused but before they could react they heard  rumbling, a stamped had started, Kuna called for them to run, Kuna guided them from above and the two had almost made it to a safe spot when Bundi got hit, Kuishi would go on to risk him self to save Bundi

When the trio returned to pride rock they had to explan what had happened, Rafiki saw to Bundis wound, as he did so, Kovu would go on to explan what the roar was  and that Bundi would be the leader of the next lion guard, but due to what they had done Bundi would have to stay at priderock untill Rafiki said he was healed, this gave Bundi time to think about who he wanted on his lion guard, Vitani would advise and train Bundi at night before bed, Bundi knew from the start who he wanted as his Keenest of sight, it could only be his friend Kuna. his other guard members would be Kuzira and  another cub in the pride called KIke

As he grew up he could never find someone to be the guards strongest, nobody seemed to work well with the group one say on patrol by him self he meet a painted dog by the name of klein, she was alone trying to find other dogs to make a pack, he offered her to stay the night at pride rock and she agreed, the two became fast friends , the next day Klein joined the guard on patrol , while not the strongest she got on with the group, so filled the spot ,Bundi enjoyed her being around, Klein never bought up leaving the pride and so she stayed in the pride and was Bundis closest friend
