Name: Tai ("Eagle" in Swahili)

Age: 2 months, Simba as a cub's age.

Gender: Male.

Personality: Quiet, contemplative, the thinker of the group. Hesitant to be reckless, he's often the uncertain one when it comes to adventure. This makes him seem older and wiser than his friends, but Tai is no leader. He would rather follow the mischievious adventureres with a "this-isn't-a-good-idea" smile than be a stick in the mud. Not easily angered and definately not outgoing. All the lionesses of the pride envy his mother for having such a mild-mannered cub!

Father: Kipanga ("Hawk" in Swahili)

Mother: Ndege ("Bird" in Swahili)

Siblings: None.

Friends: Kicheko, Scavage, Mzuli, Akili and Risasi. Rafiki.

Enemies: Hyenas, the two bullying cubs Kwanza and Pili.

History:

Born to the lioness Ndege and father Kipanga, who left the Pride after his son was born as all male lions not King do, Tai is a normal cub in the reign of King Simba and Prince Kovu. Hi father's great intelligence was passed on to him, and the calm, cool temperment of his mother as well combined to make one quiet kid! Tai grew at nearly the same rate of four other lion cubs, so naturally all five became playmates and the best of pals. After rescueing a young orphan hyena pup called Scavage from the river, he came up with the idea to hide Kicheko in the very same place Timon first thought was his 'dream home'; a nice little pool of water next to twin boulders and twin trees just behind Pride Rock. Now Tai is living the life a cub should live with his buddies.

Other: Tai is very friendly with Rafiki, often seeking out the old monkey to have long chats. He usually leaves feeling puzzled, like most animals that talk to the crazy creature! Tai is a very high jumper and sees especially far for his age.
