history: when his parents died, he clung to his big sister, who dispised him because their parents had died trying to protect him from a vicious rogue. she would have left him, but she'd swore to her parents she would take care of him. So, they set off to find a new home... half starved, is were taka found them, with niku crying because he was hungry. so they befriended taka, but were warned by him to stay out of sight unless he called 'kooka', because that meant it was safe. However, when ahadi and uhru witnessed taka saving niku's life from drowning, they learned of the young cubs story of sadness. taka became closer to nike than zira, and even named zira and his first son after niku, who passed on after two months of NUKA's living. Niku knew he was going, and he, too provided and heir to the kingdom, to which scar took in as his own, but the cub died a week of his fathers death, of heartbreak. Niku, though  served his big sister until his last day, doing anything she asked.
