Personality: She seems to be the timid type, very shy, and easily intimidated, which Kotara uses to her advantage. She will do anything to please her brothers, cousins or anyone else that's a part of her family. 

History: Meeko and her brothers were born a few months after Kotara and Meehtu, Kiara and Kovu's cubs. Meeko always wanted to please her cousins, especially Kotara because she looked up to her the most. 

Kotara had convinced Meeko one day to sneek away with her to the Outlands to collect old teeth and claws. Meeko found the idea weird and gross but because she wanted to impress her older cousin, she tagged along.

When they got there, Kotara began to sort of ramble on about how she thought it was unfair that Simba had banished Zira to the Outlands. But Meeko disagreed. She listened to Kotara as if she were crazy. She turned and fled back to Priderock, wanting to tell her mother everything Kotara had told her, but her mother was hunting.

Kotara caught up to her and cornered her on the look-out point of Priderock. She said that no one would believe Meeko and to prove an example, she admitted to killing Simba. But Meeko was still determined to tell her mother, thinking that Sinabi would believe her no matter what. But Kotara threatened her. She would either keep quiet and live a little longer or get her mother killed. Terrified, Meeko said she would keep quiet. And she did, although she did talk to Meehtu a few times because he knew the truth too.

Several months later, Simba and Nala had another son named Kion. Meeko grew very attatched to her uncle, and grew concerned when Kotara made her dislike for him very obvious.
