Personalty: Gypsy is a quiet and soft-spoken little cub. She can also be a strong and fierce little girl. It depends who she's around. She enjoys her talent in climbing trees and loves just laying in a high branch and dreaming. She is playful and friendly. She likes making friends and having adventures with them. Not too many members of her family approve of her friendship with lions but she doesn't care.

History: Gypsy was born to a large family of leopards. Her family was often out hunting because they lived in an area where lions often took what little of prey they had. Being only a young cub, Gypsy couldn't go with them. She didn't like being left behind and being all alone in a tree. So, although her mother told her not to, Gypsy hopped out of her tree and wandered around the land. She met many other leopards and cheetahs and lions. Gypsy heard many bad things about lions from her family. But the cub she met was so friendly and willing to play with her (yes, the lion was Kiara). After a little play session with Kiara, Gypsy saw her family in the distance. They were on their way back to the tree. Gypsy said good-bye to Kiara and ran as fast as she could and climbed high into the tree and pretended she had been asleep the entire time. Her parents were fooled. The next day, Gypsy snuck  out again. And each and every hunt, she would sneak out and play with her friends, then run back home and pretend she never left. This made Gypsy one of the fastest runing and best climbing leopard in the pridelands. When she was older, Gypsy started going on the hunts. She was clever and good and bringing the meals into the tree, away from thieves. Gypsy still met with her friends sometimes, but she no longer had to worry about her family knowing. She was old enough for them to not care where she was going or what she was doing, as long as she came home after. Gypsy's best friends were always Glinda and Kiara, two lionesses from the same pride. When Kiara married Kovu, Gypsy was very supportive even though she knew she wouldn't see Kiara as much. Then, a huge flood came to the leopard part of the pridelands and washed away more than half of Gypsy's family. Gypsy had been with Kiara at Priderock at the time and was safe. One could only imagine her shock and devastion at how ruined her home and family were. Half of her family was dead and a quarter had run off and weren't seen again. Gypsy was closest to her parents and her father's fate was unknown. Gypsy's mother was badly wounded. Although her parents never trusted lions, Gypsy didn't know what else to do but take her to the lions. They knew how to heal. Gypsy's mother grew surprisingly attached to the lion pride. After a while, another disaster happened in leopard territory. Whatever it was, their home tree was knocked over and the rest of the family was missing. Gypsy was relieved she had taken her mother away from there or else.... After Gypsy reported the remains of their home to her mother, Simba overheard and tried to think of a way to help his daughter's friend. Kiara remembered an old tree that was really close to Priderock where they used to play sometimes. It was just big enough for a mother and daughter leopard to live. That made Gypsy more than grateful for her relationship with the lions. They healed her mother as best as they could and gave her and her mom a new home. Gypsy now lives with her mother in her childhood play-tree, flipping from a home with the lions and a home with leopards every day.
