Personality: She is a people person, always making friends. She is lively and is the first one to wake up in mornings and the last one to go to sleep at night. She loves to go hunting with the other lionesses and is always the first one to attack an animal. Everyone in the pride loves her. She loves cubs, and wants to have at least 3 herself.  

History: Kaya was born in a pride far away from Pride Lands, soon after she turned one, there was a forest fire, both her parents were killed in it. Her Aunt looked after her for 2 years until she passed away from old age. Kaya was at an age that she could fend for her self, so she lived on her own and travelled a lot. Before leaving her pride she had a mate, Deli, he was the pride leader. They had two cubs, Lanny and Gee. The cubs were about a week old when another male lion took over the pride.. by force. He killed Deli, and all the cubs in the pride. Kaya only had her aunt left, short after that whole thing she died too, and now that there was nothing left, Kaya left. Two-ish weeks later, Kaya was being chased by Male lions, she jumped into a river, she planned to swim to the other side, but the current was too strong and dragged her away. She hit a few rocks which made her pass out. Rudolf spotted her and ran to get her out. An hour later she woke up and that's when their relationship started.

Relation to TLK: Kaya marries Rudolf, Rudolf is the son of Kiara and Kovu, so she becomes the new princess.
