Name: Canook

Age: Adult ( Nearing old age)

Likes: Athari. Hunting. Showing Athari better skills at hunting. Staying up to watch the stars.

Dislikes: The pride he used to belong to, Simba's. Hyena's. Fires. Athari's family.

Personality: In some ways, Canook is a lot like Athari. He doesn't like meeting new people, and is prone to attack at first sight. Yet, like Athari, if you are a friend, and not an enemy, he'll stand by you and not cause you any harm. 

Pride: None at the moment. 

History: When Canook was a teenager, a fire erupted in the grass that split his family up forever. But Canook stayed, watching the fire for many days, as it sputtered to a spark or reached to a respectable point in the sky. As the fire died, he came over to where his family's remains were, torched and scared by the fire. He thought none were alive, but little did he know that Athari's parents had managed to escape while the flames had roared on.  Outraged, he went and joined Simba's pride, needing a place to stay. 

He soon found out that his brother and his brothers' mate were living in that pride. But when his brother challenged Simba, and was kicked out, Canook quickly followed after them, wanting to track them and make sure they were ok.  

As Athari's father and mother left Athari, Canook quickly stepped in, needing a family member to survive with. Canook grew attached to Athari, and soon he grew accustomed to staying up to watch the stars with his only nephew.  

Relation to Lion King: Once belonged to Simba's pride.
