Personality: Loving, as all mother's should be. She would do whatever it takes to keep the people she loves close to her and safe. She doesn't like to fight, but she will, and she expects complete trust from her friends. 

History: Mbali was arranged to marry Zuberi even at a young age. The adults would go out of their way to make sure they we always around each other, but she hated it. She found Zuberi annoying and very rude, but there was nothing she could do. 

When she was old enough, she was married to Zuberi and made Queen of the pride. One day, she had been off hunting when a rogue lion had passed through their lands. She liked him and he often stopped by to "visit" her.

It was not long before there was news spreading that she was preganant, and everyone just assumed it was Zuberi's cub and not the rogue,Thabo 's. But after a few years, Zuberi had found out the truth and in result, Mbasi and him got into a huge fight. In result, Mbasi and Baako got exiled from their home.

They spent a year travelling around the African Plains before they found a home in River Pride. But the least she had expected was to see the rogue lion there! It wasn;t long before Baako found out the truth about her birth and since then, the two have barely spoken to each other.

Other: She had been in an arranged marriage with Zuberi when in fact she did not love him.  

Relation to TLK: Is the mother of Baako. Her mate Zuberi is the half brother of Ime, who is the neice of Nala. She is in Kgosi's Pride, who is Malka's son.
