Likes: The rain, -trying-to hunt, his uncle , mischief.

Dis-Likes: Being a loner, meeting new people, conversations. 

Personality: Athari is compared to be dull and evil before you get to know him. He seems to be angry or ticked off to anyone trying to make contact to him. He is rarely nice to people he doesn't know. He defends his family with no question, and will show no respect to ANY lion who shows no respect to him. 

History: Athari was born a loner. His father was kicked out of his pride for challenging Simba, and brought Lamara with him, because they were so 'desperately' in love. Athari was born a few months later, and was born on a rainy night, which was his first taste of rain. He's loved it ever since, it gives him a distant connection to his own parents. 

As he grew up, he began to realize at the age of a meer cub, that his parents were not handling well under pressure of being parents. At three weeks, his father gave him and his mother curses and pain, and fled to some un-known destination. His mother was a nervous wreck ever since. She was well enough to have him live off milk, but once the meat cravings came, she basically told him he was on his own.

Alone for the first time in his life, Athari was forced to eat anything he could find. Even scraps of meat left over by hyenas and other lions. He survived on that, but barely. It was  a blessing that Canook found him in time. Canook turned out to be Athari's uncle, and found him when Athari was  on the brink of starvation. Pretty much a pile of bones. Canook told him that he chose to leave Simba's pridelands to save him, because when Thrain left, he left soon after. 

Athari grew more and more, and so did his respect for his uncle. His uncle was his only family now, and he stayed by Canook's side, not wanting to be separated again by a family member.

Relation to Simba: His mother, father, uncle, and *basically* him was from Simba's pride.
