Personality: Noble and bold. He is a lot like Mufasa in some senses, as he is true leader and very humble and polite. He gives every one of his pride members respect, even if they do have their bad days. Kgosi may look strong, and appear strong physically, but  he can be very sensitive and emotionally weak.

History: Kgosi was born to Malka and an uknown female who were the leaders of a small pride whose territory had a river running through it. Kgosi was always very polite as a cub, and was always like a leader, even back then. He grew up with Geno, another male who stayed in the River Pride. Before Kgosi was born, Geno was meant to become the leader of that pride when Malka passed away because everyone thought Malka's mate was infertile. So when Kgosi was born, Geno became increasingly jealous.

At just two years of age, Malka died after being attacked by the horns of a buffalo, caused him great brain damage. Kgosi literally broke down, and his mother watched helplessly as her son didn't eat,move or speak. However, everything changed when a new female joined their pride. She was a brown female, and very pretty. Kgosi was finally distracted from his father's sudden death and immediately got up to talk to her. The two late on became mates, and leaders of the River Pride.

One day, Kgosi noticed a young teenage lion making a move on his mate (hope you don't mind Claire cx.) The male was named Li, and he seemed a rather devilish character. Kgosi ran to him snarling louded and shoved him away from his mate. Li looked up at Kgosi with a bewildered expression. Kgosi ordered that Li take him to his pride leader. When they got to pride rock, Kgosi found himself feeling jealous of the Pridelanders territory. The kind of the Pridelanders, Nimbala came out to see them. Li was told to go inside pride rock, while Kgosi and Nimbala talked. Kgosi and Nimbala argued about the events that had happened earlier that day, and Kgosi ended up threatening to kill any one of the Pridelanders who stepped foot in his territory. (Expect something to happen because of this threaten 83)

Relation to TLK: Rival pride of the Pridelanders. Also the son of Malka, who is a friend of Simba who starred in many TLK comics.
