Rival: Solo, Who also runs a pack of Desert lions. Solo's pride is bigger and more strict.

Siblings: Only child

Likes: His pride, besting Solo, Fruit snacks and whatever other human food he can find (he's addicted).

Dislikes: Solo, Electra, The rest of his pride, A certain Hyenai named Chrome, Pridelanders/Outlanders. He thinks the pridelander's AND Outlanders complain to much. He always tells them 'I'm lucky to get one hot meal a week. You've got it made.' He hates Solo most of all. Lizards give him the heebie jeebies.

History: Maximus was born in an awkward place at an Awkward time into a breed of Awkward lions. His breed live in the desert, and remain mysterious to humans and most of the world. They are forced to eat whatever they can, whenever they can because food does not come through their neck of the woods very often. Living in the extremely climate has made them fighters.

Maximus however, has never really fought as much as he probly should. He is oddly laid back, and unlike most of the lions around the area, he developed a taste for human food fast. Most of the Desert lions would rather stay as far away from humans as they could. Researchers find their way into the desert to sudy the odd breed, and Maximus finds his way into their campsite to study theyre food in his stomach.

His favorite thing to eat are Fruit snacks. No one knows why.

When he grew up, he managed to bond with two lionesses and one lion to form a pride. He is very proud of his group, but is constantly bested by Solo, a 'purist' desert lion with strict rules about who he lets in and who he doesn't. Maximus thinks he's a fool and needs to 'Loosen up a bit and chiiiiill.'

Solo thinks he's a mad hippie.

Relation to TLK: Maximus thinks all the pridelanders/Outlanders are whiners and doesn't want anyting to do with them
