Characteristics

Personality: Avoca is alot like Simba and Kiara. She is very adventurous, and a real hot-head. Unlike her mother, she doesn't mind eating bugs, and does reaguarly (strongly encouraged by Timon and Pumbaa). She enjoys staying around her family, and listening to stories told of her ancestry. Avoca is quiet, but is strong hearted, and stands her ground for what she believes in. Like her father, she is tricky to figure out, and is brave in dangerous situations, but can be too brave and then it is called stupid. Like Scar, though, she was deceving.

Likes:  Hakuna Matata staying near the den, her family, bugs, 

Hates:  Scar, her brother (normal sibling hate), fire (a fear) and exploring the outlands

Other

History: as a cub, Avoca just stayed near the den. She loved the stories that her family told her, about her ancestry. No one knew her real personality until Timon and Pumbaa gave Avoca her first bug. After that, everyday she went out with Timon and Pumbaa in the morning to get bugs. Kiara thought that was disgusting, but Kovu and Simba all thought it showed that she really was part of this family, being the first female lion in the pridelands to eat bugs. Her parents took her out into the pridelands and taught her about the land, and the stars.

When Avoca grew into a teen-lion, her brother, Dison was born. He held a huge grudge againts Avoca, because she was going to be queen. When a lioness spoke up, that if a son was born, he should be king, even if a daughter had already been born, there was much disagreement. Kovu ended that, though, saying that it has always been the first born to be the ruler. When the lioness that had spoken heard this, she was very angry. One time, Avoca was out with just Timon and Pumbaa, collecting bugs (as she still ate them). The lioness crept up behind them, and she attacked Avoca. Timon and Pumbaa tried to help, but they weren't as strong. Timon ran to get help while Pumbaa and Avoca tried to fight back. Shortly after, Timon, Kovu and Simba came, and attacked the lioness. She was injured, and was banished to the outlands.

This was the first time that Avoca learnt the location of the outlands. ASAP, she left (secretly) to explore the outlands. When she got there, the lioness attacked her again, and shoved her into the lake. Crocodiles attacked her, but the lioness had left, sure of Avoca's death. Avoca was able to escape, but the end of her tail had been ripped off, and a large (now almost invisible) bite mark on her right back leg. Avoca stayed away from the outlands after that.

When her family found out, she was grounded to pride rock. She was only allowed to leave to get bugs, and go for her first hunt. But, when she went on the hunt, Avoca accidentally started a stampede. She had been trying to get a buffalo, but it had alerted the herd before she got the chance. When Avoca chased after them, they went into a rage. Unfortunaetly, Dison and his best friend Bino had secretly escaped from the den, and were sleeping in the grass. Kovu got to Dison in time, but Bino was killed in the stampede. Avoca never forgave herself for that. She eats only bugs (Simba survived on them) and never hunted again. She grew out of the depression stage, and enjoys life again now. But she still doesn't hunt. She would never again risk it...

Avoca is now looking to settle down, as she is that age now. She hates the fact that Dison was taller than her, but can always quit his teasing my mentioning that she was going to be queen. That fact is now more of a matter to quit the other teasing, no more grudges are held.
