Personality:Matata is friendly but also a goofy lion cub who likes to pull pranks and disobey his parents orders from wanting to be friends with the pridelanders.He is also not afraid to show whenever he is upset or angry at someone who causes him pain but even though he picks on his sister and disobeys his parents,he still loves them and will do anything to protect them.

History:
Matata is born in Chien and Yasmine's litter. He grew up with very little friends because his parents HATE the pridelanders for what Amara has done to her daughter,Yasmine.There wasn't many lions in the outlands who are willing to play with Matata or his sibling; Ciara.Matata constantly kept going over to the pridelands until he met another female cub named Ambala.Ambala is another outsider lioness whom Matata decides to hang out with.They became very good friends.

It wasn't long until Matata lost interest in interracting with the pridelanders, sicne he secrely fell in love with Ambala.Ambala is the daughter of Asia who is an outlander also so Yasmine has no problem letting  her son play with Ambala.She heard about how Ambala risked her life to protect her only son; Matata.Yasmin goes to ask her mate Chien if it's ok to let them be friends and welcome them into their small pride. He agree so he introduces himself as well as Yasmine and their cubs did too.So now,Asia and her daughgter Ambala  joined Chien's pride.But later down the road,Matata decides to ask Ambala to be his mate,which she agrees to and they have a kid after a few years of being together,making them a happy familly...
