history: Mufasa was the best of friends with Shian and Siani's parents, but when Mufasa died and Taka(Scar) took over, his great grandparents quickly took the liberty to leave before they were noticed, and neither his mother nor father had been born when the great grandparents had taken liberty and left pride rock, and by the time Scar died, both great grandparents were long gone, and his parents, shian and Siani, were forced to live in the outlands until, maybe one day, they could return. They mught have taken the chance, his grandparents might have, but Shian and Siani had just been born, and they, along with the others that had gone with them, could not take newborn cubs on this big of a journey... and when Shian and Siani became old enough, their parents coats had been burned greatly by the sun, and would have been mistaken easily for outlanders, who had just been exiled to the lands. So for now, his family were doomed to live in the outlands until something might happen and they could move back. However, when his mom dies in a terrible tragedy, his father balmes his son and beats him every day for two months. Mohadden runs away when he sees a chance, and after many moons, collapses right inside the prideland border. In his half- starved, near dead state, he mistakes Vatani(who finds him) for his mother, and after a heart-breaking session of pleading with his"mother" to forgive him for killing her, he passes out again, waking up almost two weeks later while getting a bath from vatani. He explains his life story to the pride(how he got there, where he's from, the reason he knew simba, etc.) and is accepted almost immediatly, adopted by Vatani.

Years pass, and though his "battle scars" ( the marks where his father beat him when he was younger) remain, he grows into a handsome lion. Kovu and Kiara have not yet produced a cub of their own, so he, being trained as future king all this time, accepts his role as next in line obediantly, though very reluctant. A miracle happenes whe  but a few months later, gorgeus twins- nikki and kiona- are born of kiara and kovu. The entire kingdom rejoices, and Mohadden instantly steps down with relief. When the twins are about two months, Kiona and Nikki are out playing in the grass when a lioness from another pride tries to hunt them. Mohadden, sensing danger, runs off and gets there just in time to save them, fighting with the lioness instantly. It didn't last long, though- they soon discovered that they are- or rather- were- betrothed when he was the prince. She tries to get him to return to his rightful place, but because he fears his father - even more so since by her word Shain went REALLY nuts when Mohadden 'up and left', but he declines, saying only that was the past, and that he had to care for his mother. She blew up, yelling that his mother was dead, and that he should think of what she did for him and what she would do in his place. He left in tears, angry, hurt, frightened and confused of what to do. 

He went to his mom and sobbed as he thought about what his mom WOULD have done- how she would have handled it. Surely his mother would want him safe, as he was in the pridelands. And... going BACK, would that be suiside? He would have to fight his dad for the throne, and he'd already been at fault for his mother's passing- he didn't want to be responsible for his dads too.Besides, the very fact that he might end up as crazy as his own dad gave him the chills. He didn't even want to be prince, much less king. But, Vatani promised him she would be with him all the way.
