History: When Brahara was little, his pride kicked him out because his fur color was black instead of white/gold like the other pride members, and they thought that it was a bad omen.While he was traveling all alone, he wandered into the Outlands where Zira took him in and raised him as one of her own. He looked after Zira's other cub, Kovu who was slightly younger than him, and the two acted more like brothers than he and Nuka, who acted like mortal enemies. Later, Brahara told Zira that he was old enough to take care of himself and left the Outlands. About a few more days later, Brahara came across a young African Wild Dog, Timber Wolf mix named Zanzibar. Zanzibar was caught in a hunter's trap and, being the kind lion that he was, Brahara tried to offer Zanzibar his help. But Zanzibar replied that he could get down by himself but it took him all day just to try and chew his way threw the rope. Brahara soon grew bored and turned to leave, but Zanzibar called him for help. After the he got Zanzibar down, the two travled together, met two outcast hyenas and a Jackel Princess, and managed to get to a place in Kenya that was protected from poachers.
