My Heart And My Love...

Maxwell and Twinkle were walking along.
Twinkle: Are you aware of the evil woman?
Maxwell: :o What evil woman??
Twinkle: My owners read in the newspaper that an evil woman is going around town, shooting dogs with her... gun....
Maxwell: Don't worry, my sweet! I will protect you!
Twinkle: :)
Maxwell and Twinkle continued to walk along. The evil woman jumped out of the shadows and pointed her gun at them.
Maxwell: RUN!
He and Twinkle ran from the illegal woman, and Maxwell heard a roar behind him. Then he noticed that he couldn't hear Twinkle's footsteps behind him anymore. He slowed to a stop and looked behind him. The woman was gone, and Twinkle lay on the ground.
He gasped, but didn't walk over to her. It was clear what had happened.
Maxwell: ...Twinkle...?
Twinkle didn't respond. Maxwell knew what had happened.
Maxwell: Oh Twinkle...
he sat down next to her, but wasn't at all very hopeful. He looked away from her.
Maxwell: What have I done?
Twinkle: (Silence)
Maxwell was devestated. One illegal woman had taken away the thing he held nearest and dearest to his heart. Just days before, he and Twinkle had been happy... tehy pranced around the park and had the best time of Mxwell's life. But now, all that was just a memory... and it would always remain just that. A memory. Twinkle was forever gone. Not only her, but Maxwell felt like he was gone, too. He wanted to be gone if Twinkle was gone. He felt like he was in a horrid dream, and that all he needed to do was wake up... he wanted it to be that way. But he knew it wasn't. His heart had been split in two. Twinkle was gone, forever gone. And it would always remain that way now.
Maxwell sighed as he got up and looked toward Twinkle. She failed to move. Maxwell knew from the start that it was all over. He hoped that woman would get arrested soon.... he could only hope. Now everything was gone. Everything that Maxwell had loved was gone. His heart and his love.... was gone.

I hope this sounded dramatic, but not too dramatic.... I hope you'll be happy to hear this, Maxwell is wrong. Twinkle isn't forever gone. lol Did you think she was?? Were you convinced?? Well, she's not, lol. I think I know how to make something sound devestatingly sad.... please leave a comment telling me how dramatic you thought it was. :P I would like to hear your opinions on it!
