You let your mother handle it herself. However, the weight of her body isn't enough to tip the net. You are carried away and both thrown in the pound. Your mother and you are in separate cages. No one adopts either of you... Until one day, a little girl comes in looking for a puppy and she picks you out. Now you have been adopted! Hooray!

but... Now you need to say good bye to your mother. You and your mother have a tearful good bye. "I always knew you were special," your mother whispers before nuzzling you for the final time. You are taken away by your new owners and never see your mother again.

To make matters worse, the family later realizes that the girl has an allergy. You are kicked out and thrown on the streets. You lay on your stomach, wondering why you had suddenly been excluded. Then the man opens the door and shouts at you. "Look what you did!" He yells for no reason. "You made my kid have an allergy!" He shuts the door. You wait on the doorstep for him to open the door, but he never does. You've been abandoned, and to top it all off, it's the coldest day of the year. Snow is on the ground. You find out the truth that he'll never open he door, and sadly you leave.

you spend the night in a barrel. It's very uncomfortable. You fall asleep and wake up in terror. You are freezing slowly. You are shivering mightily and the snow is coming down harder. You wish your mother was here and start to cry. "I always knew you were special..." Echoes in your mind.

You soon walk by a junkyard. You are still freezing. The dogs in the junkyard look like they're having fun. "Hey, hon," says a big dog. "I'm Buster, and you look freezing. Want to join us?"

If you want to live, you have only one choice.
