mean to. It was an accident," Elsie assured.
"Some accident," Bandit got up and started walking away. He headed towards the exit of the junkyard.
"But Bandit, I-" But Bandit had already turned the corner.

"Bandit!" Bobo called as he hurtled around the corner after bandit. Bandit didn't notice. "Bandit, what was up with Elsie?" Bobo asked.
"Dunno. She's usually so nice but she pushed me. We have to catch Seth soon or the next thing you'll know Tangerine will have got an army to gang up on me," Bandit joked. Bobo laughed, too.
"I've got an idea!" Bandit said. "I was talking to Amy a minute ago and she said that Seth was really overprotective of her. She said that she would come to the hideout soon. I'm not sure how son, but anyway. When Amy comes into the hideout, I'll cover the door and then you will find the dogcatcher and bring him to the junkyard, then dash past Seth and the dogcathcer will go for Seth instead. It's genius!"
"You're right Bandit. i think this might actually work. But you'll get distracted by Amy!" Bobo pointed out.
"That's part of the plan. I'll cover the hole with the couch and then you'll do your thing. She won't see what's going on and I can still hang with her," Bandit said. Bobo paused for a few moments before answering.
"It seems like I'm doing most of the work," Bobo sulked. Bandit frowned. he hadn't realised that. He;s been so focused on soending time with Amy that he'd forgot to put himself in the plan.
"Well, I'll distract Amy so she doesn't go outside and see what you're doing to her dad, becaus eif she finds out it'll make thing ten times harder," Bandit explained. Bobo just nodded and went along with the plan. "I'll go and find Amy," Bandit siad. He walked over to Snob Hill and looked through the window of her house. Amy was there with her mother, Jewel. Bandit wasn't so keen on Jewel spottiing him, so he started waving around outside, making sure that Jewel couldn't see him. Eventually, Amy looked up and spotted Bandit waving his paws in the air. She started laughing and Jewel looked at the window. Bandit ducked quickly, but Jewel was too quick for him and spotted him. She looked down through the window and spotted Bandit crouching down. Jewel skilfully opened the window and gestured for Bandit to come in. Bandit wasn't sure what to do, but he jumped in anyway. Jewel sat back down where she was and spoke.
"Who are you?" She asked. Bandit was about to open his mouth to speak but Amy did the talking for him.
"This is Bandit. He's a policedog," She said quickly.
"Oh, it's you is it? Amy's been telling me a lot about you and how you thought my mate was a thief," Jewel chuckled. Bandit blushed.
"Oh yeah Why were you dancing outside?" Jewel asked. Bandit blushed brighter.
"I wasn't dancing. And i was going to ask Amy if she wanted to come by my home for lunch?" Bandit said. Jewel thought for a while. bandit seemed like a really nice dog. And a policedog! He could protect Amy really well.
"Okay," Jewel decided. Amy's tail started wagging like crazy. Amy and Bandit left the house. They did say anything until they reached the hideout. Amy immediately threw herself down on the couch.
"Nice place. How did you make sure that the junk didn't fall out of the ceiling?" Amy asked.
"Um...I didn't," Bandit admitted.
"Wait a second. I just thought of something. If you're a policedog then why are you living in a junkyard?" Amy asked.
"Well, I, uh, don't really like living in a police station. It's a little noisy," Bandit lied.
"Hold it. Theree isn't even a police station in town!" You can't be a policedog," Amy said, getting louder. Bandit gulped.

At Amy's house, Seth was talking with jewel. "So you sent Amy off with a stranger dog that you'd never met?!" Seth said angrily.
"Well, Amy seemed to know him well," Jewel replied.
"What did he look like?" Seth asked.
"He was a grey and khaki doberman with a longer than normal tail," Jewel said.
"It's that doberman who knocked me over last night. He's trouble, I'm telling you," Seth said. And before Jewel could say anything else, Seth shot through the window and set off following Amy's scent.

Bobo was waiting by the junkyard enterance. He was begining to wonder if Seth would show up at all when suddenly, he saw him. Hewaited until Seth was right by the hideout enterance and set off towards the pound. Bobo was lucky enough to find the dogcatcher outside the pound. He was carrying his net. Better. Bobo started barking like crazy. The dogcatcher immediately noticed him and he gave chase. Bobo wasn't all that fast, but he was sure he could outrun the dogcatcher. He just had to make sure that he didn't go too fast, because he wanted the dogcatcher to see where he was going. He ran at the right pace until he reached the junkyard. Then he went full speed and ran towards Seth. He quickly dived behind a large pair of old boots and watched.

"Look, Amy, I'm sorry I lied," Bandit said.
"Why did you?" Amy asked. bandit sighed and started telling the story.
"All of the bones were took from the junkyard and everyone was blaming me, so I set off to clear my name. I found out that your dad took the bones so I tried to get them back. The plan was to catch Seth and get the bones back but-"
"But what?" Amy asked. Bandit sighed and confessed.
"I just wanted you to like me," Bandit lay down and put his paws over his eyes. Bandit was expecting Amy to kick him in the ribs but instead Amy just giggled. "What's so funny?" Bandit asked, not taking his paws off his eyes.
"If it makes you feel any better, I wanted to return the bones, too," Amy said.
"Really, why. And what did your dad want with them?" Bandit asked, this time taking his paws away from his eyes.
"I always thought that my dad was nuts and it was wrong. he was keeping all the bones for himself when he didn't even need them," Amy said. "And my dad wants this priceless artifact called the Golden bone. I'm not even sure it exists but my dad won't stop searching for it."
"Well, now that we've both admitted, I'll tell you something else. Can you hear that barking?" Bandit asked. Sure enough, if they stopped talking they could hear the sound of the dogcatcher scooping Seth up in his net.
"What is that?" Amy asked.
"It's your dad being caught by the dogcatcher," Bandit chuckled. Amy laughed aswell. They looked outside and saw Seth being dragged away by the dogcatcher. Bobo ran up to them.
"This is great, Bandit. We did it!" Bobo cheered.
"Great, kiddo," Bandit agreed.
"Thanks, guys," Amy smiled. "Let's go get the bones back, then I'm gonna go bust my dad out of the pound." The trio got the bones out of Amy's house and went back to the Junkyard to return them. Evryone was glad to have the bones back and all of them apologised to Bandit.
"Um...sorry for accusing you, Ditso," Tangerine said. "I guess I was wrong."
"No big deal, Tangerine. You're wrong about a lot of things," Bandit laughed. Tangerine mumbled to herself and walked off, smiling , though. Everything was the way it should have been, again.

Amy walked to the junkyards exit. Bandit noticed that Amy was going and walked up to her. Amy was already walking down the street. "Hey!" Bandit called. Amy turned around and Bandit headed towards her. "Thanks for the help," Bandit said. Amy smiled.
"it was no problem," She replied.
"I guess I'll see you around?" Bandit asked.
"Definitely," Amy nodded. She turned to go and so did Bandit. But then, Amy turned around ran back to Bandit and kissed him on the cheek before turning around
