The dogcatcher stared at the big dog, Jake. He couldn't take his eyes of of him, since Jake is the least trusted dog in the whole city.

"Joe, c'mon. He ain't gettin' out. He's locked up to dang good." Joe sighed. "Lou, how many times has this mutt gottin' out of 'ere?"

Lou chuckled. "Yeah, I know. But there 're too many locks on de cage. He ain't gettin' out."

Joe smiled. "Yeah, 're right. Let's get 'ome."

As soon as they were out, Jake snapped at the locks.

Jack yawned. "Jake, give it a rest."

Jake growled. "Shut up! Let me do the thinking! Imma gonna get outta here!"

Jack shrugged. "Whathever."

Jake turned to him. "I think it's whatever."

Jack turned to face him. "That's what I said. Whathever." Jake growled. "There is only one h!"

Jack looked at him. "What's an h?"

Jake shook his head. "Forget it. Hey- maybe those years of trying to be a police dog was worth it!"

Jack gave him a strange look. "I didn't  know you were a police dog." Jake growled again. "Yeah. I left because everyone always laughed at me for being a great dane and not a german shepherd."

"Than what is the plan?" he asked. Jake smiled. "Well, when the dog catchers set up the locks, they missed one detail."

Jack yawned again. "And that was...?" "They forgot to secure it, and if I chew long enough, I can get it undone!"

Jack scratched his ear. "Good luck with hat." "THERE IS ONLY ONE H IN- Oh, what's the point."

"Grrr...uh!" Jake snaped in surprise when the chain snapped. Using his head, he managed to untangle the chain. "Let's get out of-" he looked over at Jack. "Zzzzzzzzzzzz" "HEY!!" "Ch-Huh? "Let's go!"

"At those hours I was given time to think, Jack."

"What, that you'd be lucky if your teeth didn't fall out?"

Jake stopped. "Well, that too..."

"What helse?"

Jake snapped. "Stop with the H thing!!" Jack shrugged. "What did you realize?"

"Well, you know Scamp's friend, Cade?"

"Yeah?"

"When I was back in police training, I was in the same time Cade's father was. He was the main one who used to tease me. Now, I will get my revenge!"

"Wait, didn't you already get your revenge by killing him?"

"What? Oh, that was my friend, Doug. Now, I'll get my direct revenge!"

"Whoa, don't kill them!"

"Them?"

"Yeah, Scamp, Tramp, and Cade."

"Ahh, I was just going to get Cade. Thanks for the idea!"

"No prob- GAH!"

"Then you just pounce!" Cade was teaching Scamp how to catch a mouse. "Were did you learn all of this?"

"That is not important! Just remember, the mouse will feel you before it hears you, so walk lightly and keep-"

A deep, bark was heard right outside the door.

"What the-" Scamp started.

Cade walked over to it. "Hello?"

Jim Dear opened the door and Jake took off inside.

He grabbed Cade by the neck and Scamp by the tail. Scamp yiped in pain.

"What 'bout Tramp? And I still don't agree with tis." Jack said when they got back.

Jake sat the pups down. "First, it's pronounced this. Next, we don't get Tramp. When he shows up we attack. Got it?"

"Whathever."

Tramp never showed up. They waited and waited, but they never came. "Oh, forget it. Jack, take the pups out."

Jack nodded. "Ohay!" Jake shook his head. "I'm not evan going to try..." Jack picked up Cade and sat him outside.

Jake snapped at Jack in anger. "No, you dunce! I mean kill them!"

Jack gasped. "Oh... wait, no!"

Jake barked in anger. "If you don't, I will!"

Jack stood in front of the pups. "Try it, giraffe."

Jake laughed. "Yeah, you gotta lotta room to talk! You're bigger than me!"

Jack shook his head. "WhatEver! I finally figured it out!"

Jake laughed. "Go ahead. Attack me. I'll beat you like I chew a bone."

"Great samile."

"It's sima-"

"WHATHEVER! DARN IT I ADDED THE J! It's called a j, right?"

Jake growled. "THAT IS IT! I'm through being your partner!"

"B-But were brothers, Jake..."

"But you are to stupid! I can't always constantly be correcting you when you make a grammer mistake!"

"What's grammer?"

"Something most dogs don't know about. I just happend to be around humans most of my puphood."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyhay-"

"Anyw- oh, nevermind. I'm going to kill you know, and than I'll take down the puppies."

"No, you won't."

"Try me, gorilla."

"Please, Jake. We've been together for years!"

"Ha. I've just been using you. Now I can finally get rid of you and your cricket mind!"

"Uh..."

"Crickets have small brains."

"Oh. Well, Jake, c'mon! We can work things out!"

"No chance!" He bit Jack's neck.

Jack yelped in pain. He knew he couldn't fight his own brother.

"Jake.... please..." Those seemed to be Jack's last words as he passed out.

Cade did the first thing thing that came to his mind. He attacked Jake, even though he knew it would be painful.

Scamp did the same, but Jake took them both down.

"Well, buddy, I guess this is the end..." Scamp said.

"Yeah. I wish something that ment almost nothing to us then would save us now."

A voice was heard about ten feet away. "Hey! Get off those pups! Get outta here!"

Scamp knew it right off the bat. Jim Dear.

Jake looked up. "Ahh. This is not the end!!"

He than ran off.

"Scamp! Cade! Thank godness you're- is he alive?" Jim asked, asking about Jack.

He got on his knees to look at him. "He's still breathing. Let's take him home."

Darling came up behind him. "Jim Dear, are you crazy? That's a great dane we're talking about! He's too big! He's way bigger than junior!"

"Honey, I know he's one huge dog, but he's also needs help."

Darling sighed. "Oh, alright."

And So ends another Dragons Cave story! No, the story's not over. We've still got another one! After that I might have a fourth. The next one is about Jake's revenge. That'll be fun to write! See ya until the next fic!
