It was a fresh morning. The sun was barely born, and Golan was already awake, running through the gardens of the house excitedly, looking for some little animal to hunt.
Trusty lay near the door of the house, watching his puppy. Of course, Trusty did not want to be awake this time. It was about 6:30 in the morning. The owners of Trusty and Golan were asleep and did not seem to hear the barking of the young puppy. A few minutes later, loyal decided to put a stop on Golan, who was playing with a mouse.
- Son, it's morning, you have to sleep. You can play when you wake up. - Trusty said, his voice weary.
- Dad, come play with me! - Golan said, excited, still chasing the mouse, who fled desperately.
- I'm too old to run around. - Trusty dropped to the floor. - I have to rest.
- But I do not want to rest, daddy! - The young dog now watched a bird that was nestling in his nest.
Trusty looked thoughtfully to his pup.
But what is Trusty thinking?
-flashback-
- The name, dear. What can be the name? - Trusty said, happy, for the puppy's mother.
- Golan. What do you think? - She said excitedly.
- It's a beautiful name! - Trusty said with an excited bark.
- Now, dear .. promise me you'll take good care of him, okay?
- Yes. I promise. I promise, my dear.
-end of the flashback-
Trusty was sleeping when he was awakened by Golan.
- Uncle Jock! - Golan exclaimed, seeing Jock walking around the boy happy.
- How are you, Golan, my dear little dog? - Jock said, by messing up the Golan. -Oh, and here is my old storyteller, right, Trusty? - Jock laughed, noting Trusty.
- How are you, Jock? - Trusty said, not very excited.
- I guess I'm fine .. - Jock and Trusty began talking. Neither realized that the Golanwas running into the street, and running around freely.
Golan was running around until he was lost.
He walked some more, and ended up in one of the places that nobody ever wanted to go: The alley of Reggie.
And there was Reggie, sleeping carefree.
Golan was desperate. There was no turning back.
"I have to go through it, or I'll die anyway", Golan thinked.
Golan passed beside him, but tripped over his foot, waking him up.
Reggie gave a yelp of rage, and Golan ran, but tripped again and ended up in the back of Reggie.
The giant dog ran down the street, trying to get rid of the puppy, which was getting a little dizzy from the ride. Golan Reggie jumped back and crashed to the floor. Hewas uninjured.
Reggie ran after him. But the dogcatcher appeared, which made Golan have to run much faster.
Luckily, he was not caught, unlike Reggie, who was caught.
A few hours later, Golan went roaming down the street. It was night. A very cold night, indeed.
Buster was also walking down the streets, looking for something to eat, and foundthe young puppy.
- Hey, kid! What are you doing at that hour of night, alone out there? - Buster asked Golan.
- I lost myself, sir. Who are you?
- My name is Buster. And yours is?
- My name is Golan, sir.
- Nice to meet you, kid! Now come with me, you can not stay alone here in thestreet.
And they went out walking and talking.
Buster and Golan finally arrived at the junkyard. Both were greeted by our junkyarddogs - Ruby, Mooch, Francois, Sparky and Scratchy.
As Golan was very tired, he decided to rest.
And the bottom of everything, was Angel, who fell hard for the puppy.
Love at first sight, is it?
Meanwhile, Jock and Trusty searched for the puppy. Even Lady, Tramp and the rest of the family were looking for him too, but found nothing
- We have to go. We did not find him, but we can look it up tomorrow. - The Trustysaid Jock, who was sad and inconsolable.
- Do not be like Uncle Trusty! - Colette tried to cheer him up. - I'm sure we will find the Golan. I know we will!
- I promised ... I promised I would take care of him .. That would not let anything badhappen to him ... I broke the promise ... - Trusty looked at the sky, and a star shone.Jock, Colette, Lady and the others left.
- We'll find him, sweetheart. - Trusty was still staring at the sky. His voice was confident. - We'll find him!
And ran back home.
-next day-
The morning was very warm. Golan stretched, and saw Angel at his side.
- Hello! - She said. - I noticed you yesterday .. welcome to the junkyard dogs. My name is Angel. What's your name?
- My name is Golan, is a pleasure to meet you! - He said, excited. Angel keptlooking at him.
She was in love.
But what had happened to her relationship with Scamp?
Well, that nobody knows.
It's been days and weeks, and the relationship between Angel and Golan would only increase.
One day both went for a walk in the park and saw Trusty. Golan quickly hid behind a rock.
- What do you have? - Angel asked, confused.
- It's my dad .. I ... I can not go back. My life is in the landfill, not on a leash.
- But if you want to go back to his father .. for your family ..
- I want to be by your side. - Golan said, and licked her face.
- But no matter which place you want to be, I'll go with you. - Angel said with asmile.
- I like the street, but I think there is nothing better than a father's love.
- So, come on!
Both were running to Trusty.
- Son! My god, I missed you so much! - Trusty said, hugging his son. - But where were you? We were looking for you for days and days!
- Well, I .. - Golan was interrupted by Buster.
- Well, well, well! So you were a house dog! And never told us! - Buster said.
- I. .. I ... - Golan gasped.
- Son, you were with these thugs? - Trusty asked.
- But I'm coming home, dad! Me and my new girlfriend, Angel.
- Yeah, go right! - Buster grumbled. - No one needs you there.
- So let's go! - Angel said brightly, and soon the three returned home. Golan never thought of running away again.
