protested. He fished the sheet out of the water.
"Costume!?" Tangerine gasped.
"Costume?" Travis muttered. He woke up and looked around.
"Yeah. It's my costume for the skit," Coco explained. "i guess it needs to dry," Coco threw it up on a tree branch.
"See Travis. A costume. Like the ones in the skit we saw yesterday... Travis?" Bandit said. Travis was walking away with his head down.
"Hey, Travster. Where're ya goin'?" Bandit asked. "What's wrong?"
Coco saw Tangerine looking at Travis wierdly. He arched an eyebrow. Tangerine saw him. They looked back to Travis and ignored eachother.
"I'm okay. You were all brave. But, I was too scared to help you," He sniffed.
"We were all scared," Bandit assured.
"No, Bandit. When you needed help. I just couldn't help you. No one needs a friend who's always afraid," Travis started walkin' away again.
"Travis-" Tangerine ran after him. Coco grabbed her. "Don't. I'm sure he'll come back.
"Coco's right," Bandit agreed. "He needs some time to be alone, I think," He added. Tangerine just stared after Travis until she couldn't see him anymore.

Later that night, Travis was staring out of the window of the old childrens play house he'd found abandoned at the park. He slept there every night. He looked at the green sheet, that was still drying on the tree branch. There was a storm outside and the wind was blowing harder than ever before. There was a thunderclap which made the night even more frightening.
"Man. It was a costume and I was scared of it. I'm such a wimp!" Travis cried. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Travis hid under a matress. Bandit came through the door.
"Travis. I thought you might need something to cheer you up," Bandit called. Travis came out from under the matress.
"What is it?" Travis asked.
"My hero scarf," Bandit tossed it to Travis.
"I appriciate it, Bandit, but I'm not hero material," Travis sighed.
"But, in our skit, the scarf goes on a hero, so put it on," Bandit hated being reasonable. It always made him sound weird.
"No. I'm a smal, wimpy, clumsy, good for nothing, not best frined saving puppy. No one wants to be friends with a fraidy cat, do you? Goodbye, Bandit," Travis went back under the matress. Bandit just sighed and headed to the door. Travis couldn't stay under there his whole life. Bandit picked up the scarf that Travis had thrown on the floor and put it on a wooden chair. Then he left.
Bandit walked past the tree with the sheet on it. The sheet suddenly got blew off the branch by a strong gust of wind. It wrapped around Bandit and sent his rollling away, unable to stop himself.
"Yikes! HELP!" He yelled. Travis heard him and looked out of the window. Bandit fell into the pond. Travis saw his hero scarf and put it on. He ran towards the pond and fished Bandit out. Bandit looked at Travis.
"Man, Travis. For a second there, I thought I was gonna drown. Bandit spat out some water. Travis took Bandit back to his home.

The gang were performing the end of their horror skit. Many dogs inculuding, Scamp, Tramp, Lady and the rest of their family.
"Coco had a sock puppet on one of his paws and was cornerin' Bandit, Dash and Tangerine. Then, Travis jumped in and knocked the monster out. Then the whole crowd cheered and Coco said:
"I ain't puttin' anything bigger than myself on again!" And the crowd laughed.
After the show, everyone went to Dash' house for lunch. Luckily, not with broccoli in it.
"The crowd loved us!" Coco cheered.
"You were actually a hero!" Bandit laughed.
"Hey-"
"In a good way!" Bandit added.
"I guess I was," Travis smiled.

Bandit and Dash were sitting on the top of the junkyard pile.
"Man, I was almost scared of Coco," Bandit said. Dash rolled his eyes.
"Still, leons got a can of CABBAGE dog food waiting to invade tommorrows lunch!" Dash joked.
"At least you have lunch out of a can, not a bin," Bandit laughed.
"I guess you're right," Dash agreed. They sat looking out over the town.
