Colette and Danielle burst out laughing when they saw Scamp at the door, and then began to prod at him, teasing him at the amount of trouble he was in.

            “Scamp!  Where have you been!  I’ve been calling everywhere for you!”

            “I thought we talked about this!  Your mother was worried sick!”

            “You’re going back to the doghouse!”

            “And you dragged Angel into this?”

            “You are never taking these collars off again!”

            “SCAMP!!!”

            Scamp and Angel winced at the shouts heading their way. 

            “Is it too late to go back to the junkyard?”  Scamp asked.

            He and Angel laughed as they walked in through the front door.  Happy to see him home, Junior threw a brightly colored ball, which had the family chasing Scamp throughout the house.  Angel made herself comfortable and watched the hilarity from the living room sofa.

            “It is good to be home,” she said.
